Scourger
EDIT: See last post! :D First of all, I'm still level 2x Excalibur, clearing through planets, currently at Mars, Uranus is the next one I believe (I proceed watching levels). I still need Orokin Catalysts and Reactors. I still have no clue about a couple of things: Alert missions. I saw only 3 of them I believe. People talk about "?" in the reward section or something like that, but all I saw until now was just the "attention" triangle with the exclamation mark inside, with no description whatsoever and just the image of the faction we go against. Also, are they worldwide? Do I still get the special reward when I join them through "Online" play, even if the mission began already? Because the few ones I've made gave me nothing. Ash. Since I saw this warframe I dreamed of making an efficient build based on melee or shotgun damage with high mobility thx to the cheapness of teleport. Is melee viable on end-game? The few high level videos out there (there really aren't many) barely use their melee stuff. Frost Watching here it says Melee Damage 15 on the stats under the image, while most other warframes have 35. What the hell is with that? What kind of damage is that? Doesn't that depend entirely on the weapon? Mods Is it necessary to have armor/health/shield mods in the warframe to be able to farm end-game? Bosses? Can you solo bosses at the end of the game? Are multishots simply better than other damage mods? (for shotgun) I hear some people swapping their elemental mods every time depending on what faction they go against. Isn't this too expensive to do? For the Shield Recharge mod, does it speed up the out-of-combat time needed to start the recharge too? Artifacts Are only from alert missions right? I'm sure I had more questions but I can't remember at the moment. I guess I'll edit in case :D Thanks in advance! Azure_Kytia
First of all, I'm still level 2x Excalibur, clearing through planets, currently at Mars, Uranus is the next one I believe (I proceed watching levels). In the list of rewards when you click on an alert, there are three boxes. One has credits, and one may have a ? icon. These drop rare item blueprints and artifacts. They're highly sought after and are pretty rare at times, since it's all randomly generated. Also, are they worldwide. Yes, they are. Do I still get the special reward when I join them through "Online" play, even if the mission began already? Yes, you do. You are awarded the prize at the end of the mission, where the list of mods you pick up go. Because the few ones I've made gave me nothing. That's likely because they didn't offer ? Prizes. Ash. Since I saw this warframe I dreamed of making an efficient build based on melee or shotgun damage with high mobility thx to the cheapness of teleport. Is melee viable on end-game? The few high level videos out there (there really aren't many) barely use their melee stuff. At present, Melee is pretty good early to mid game, but main weapons generally get much stronger in the late game. I'd probably say this will be tweaked to give every style a fair chance, but at present, thems the breaks. Mods Is it necessary to have armor/health/shield mods in the warframe to be able to farm end-game? Bosses? Can you solo bosses at the end of the game? It's not "necessary" by any means, however they may help you out quite a bit. Depending on how lucky you are, you might get combination mods that let you free up a mod slot for more offensive type mods. I hear some people swapping their elemental mods every time depending on what faction they go against. Isn't this too expensive to do?. It depends. Most people tend to have a few hundred thousand credits just lying around in the late game, as their equipment is pretty maxed out and there are few cash sinks to put it in. That being said, Switching mods is a lot cheaper than respeccing, and I have never had a financial problem swapping out all my mods. Artifacts Are only from alert missions right? At present, correct. Scourger
Thx! But I still don't get the Alert mission thing. When I click the Alert mission nothing opens up, it just starts the mission and that's it. When I hover over it I didn't notice anything around. Does someone have a screen or something? Click on the text notification on the top left of the mission select screen, it will show you the information window and take you the planet where the alert is. Catknip
Thx! But I still don't get the Alert mission thing. When I click the Alert mission nothing opens up, it just starts the mission and that's it. When I hover over it I didn't notice anything around. Does someone have a screen or something? The top right of your screen will list the current alerts you can access. Clicking on these links will take you to the planetary system, as well as open a description box with a rewards list. -The first item on the reward list is always credits. -The second item on the list will be a "?" if the alert contains an artifact or blueprint. What I think you are doing is clicking the triangles above the planetary nodes, and while this does queue you for the alert, it does not show you the completion rewards you recieve. As a general rule, click the alert from the list (top left of the screen) to start or queue for an alert. That way, you'll always know if it's worth doing or not. Katakuna
I did that, but where do I see these boxes with credits and "?" in them? Alright, I don't have a screen for you, but I did find a convenient video: Go to :54, he does exactly what I explained. If that's what you did, then I've got nothing. Cakes
You can occasionally get a random artifact as the daily log in reward as well. I think that's how I came to possess Rifle Scavenger.

These 2 questions still need to be answered, resurrecting topic FTW! :D I added the Ash one as well.
sambarpowder
1. That does depend entirely on the weapon equipped, you prolly had the dual zoren. You can get melee mods on your frame though. 2. IDK, I think so. 3. I think it's a bit shorter.
