Mastery Rank experience fluctuating

Hello,

So I just got enough xp to get to mastery rank 5, but sense there was lag I failed the mission which is fine I understand that kinda thing happening. So I exited, and came back later to my game to see my mastery rank xp bar down to half... that sucks. I want to know if there is something I did wrong or what? Cause it still tells me I have to wait to retake the mastery rank test, but my xp bar is half of what it once was.

Its just a visual glitch if you look at your profile it hasnt fluctuated
