RandomDudeOP
Been playing with my friends on the Void (Tower 1 Raid), in the first minute, got attack by a Stalker (killed it off easily), and after 15 minutes, we reached extraction...this is the interesting part... As we entered the extraction room, we noticed this... *photo credit by "TheOnlyPellets"* Want to know...is this something the devs have planned up for? Or is this something else.... Who knows? Scheifen
*snip* I loved that room when i saw it. To me it looks like those tree-like structures are the power supply, as I've seen them in other rooms... and in that room with the power cut off, they grew like crazy... possibly because of infestation, but who knows outside of the devs Edited July 19, 2013 by Scheifen
LeucienWeaver
The Infested are everywhere. The only thing stronger than the Orokin Control Modules(Frost Prime, and the other Corrupted's headpiece) is the Technocyte. It's only a matter of time before they absorb us all. Cue 'For the Swarm' posts.
Renathy
At first sight, that would look like infested "work" but that's more flora, than anything else. Edited July 19, 2013 by JRMC
Genoscythe
I think infested looks different, maybe its just designed like that or flora that hasnt been looked after for too long? I love the design of it though, it looks fantastic, you could make a "orokin-tower-was-at-the-dark-side-of-the-universe-and-houses-incredible-horrors-now" setting if you expand this design, with even more terrifying enemies(even infested/rogue/savage orokin themselves), as it looks like energy has shut off in this section and something has gone wrong. Phatose
Er....I just looked at it and said "Yeah, that's what happens to a tree when everybody who was suppose to prune it has been dead for 300 years."
LeucienWeaver
The 'Something has gone wrong' is that the symbiotic relationship between the buildings and the plants went haywire for some reason, causing the plants to stop providing power to the room, and instead hoard it, causing them to grow exponentially and lose their luminosity. Cue new type of enemy, a flora oriented monster.
