Shapeshifter Warframe [sithis] How this Warframe operates: This Warframe is strictly power-based. That means it cannot wield weapons like other Warframes can. With this in mind, multiple ability mods would be created for this Warframe. Ability mods would consist of weapons and powers that only the Shapeshifter Warframe could use. To balance this, this Warframe would have a moderate sized energy pool with a small innate energy regeneration that will not stack with Energy Siphon. ---------------------------------------------------- Abilities--------------------------------------------------- Note: Ability mods will come with 1 abilities per mod and leveling the mod will increase the number of abilities per mod by 1 ability. Players will be able to cycle through each ability slot (for instance, there are technically 2 abilities on the 1 slot. Using the mouse wheel or pressing 1 again will cycle to the next ability within that ability slot.) Additionally, the damage done by the mods will have dual scaling. Abilities will scale with both the Warframe's level and the mod's level. Weapon abilities will use the Warframe's energy pool as their ammo supply with the exception of melee abilities. This Warframe will have 2 default rank 2 mods already equipped when crafted or bought. These default mods have a pre-set rank and cannot be improved nor fused into other mods. Mods attained through levels cannot be fused into other mods either. However, attained mods are upgradable by fusing other mods into them. Default Ability set 1: Light weapons (for the sake of explaining how this Warframe's ability mods scale with levels, the two default mods will be presented like other attainable mods.) -------- Level 1 [Harvester]: A semi-automatic needle gun similar to the Acrid. The needles ignore armor drain the target's life force/energy supply over time. When the enemy dies, the Warframe can walk over the enemy and retrieve the energy. The damage over time will stack with each projectile injected. Life energy is only dropped by non-Infested organics. Energy is dropped by machines or enemies with shield units.) Actual stats will be posted later. -------- Level 2 [Power Glove]: Using the massive gauntlet on the left hand, enemies are struck with devistating blows. A basic attack knocks an enemy away. A charge attack grips the target in the crosshairs and smashes it into the ground (does not work against heavy units and bosses.) Default Ability set 2: Defensive capabilities -------- Level 1 [Riot Shield]: Upon activation the Warframe molds its arms into a shield. The user cannot attack, sprint, wallrun, or roll while the shield is up, but the user is allowed to move forward for the shield's duration. Energy is consumed for every second the shield is online. -------- Level 2 [Hijack]: The Warframe becomes gaseous and enters the target's body, taking full control of it. After hijacking the victim, the user can either use the body to fight other enemies or cause the victim to explode and expel the Warframe. If the victim dies in combat, the Warframe is expelled from the body (This ability will not work on heavy units, bosses, Infested, or robots. Note that this ability has a very high energy cost.) Warframe Rank 5 mod: Crowd Control -------- Level 1 [Whiplash]: Upon activation, the Warframe's right arm becomes an extendable whip that grips the target centered in the reticle. The enemy becomes gripped and the Warframe is stuck in place. Moving the mouse allows the whip to toss the enemy around. Other enemies can be knocked down by this attack. (Heavy units and bosses are immune to being thrown around or knocked down. Bosses cannot be gripped but heavy units can.) -------- Level 2 adds [split] as well as boosts the range of [Whiplash]: Activating [Whiplash] again after gripping an enemy target will cause the whip's tip to expand, splitting the enemy apart. (Deals Serrated Blade damage. Ignores armor.) -------- Level 3 adds [Pinball] as well as reduces the energy cost of [split]: Using the Warframe's energy to mold the biomass of a gripped enemy, the enemy enlarges and becomes circular. After critical mass is reached, the enemy is launched in front of the Warframe dealing damage to whatever the enemy hits. After ten seconds the enemy will explode. (To activate this ability, do not move the mouse after gripping an enemy with [Whiplash].) Warframe Rank 10 mod: Heavy weapons -------- Level 1 [blitzkrieg]: The Warframe's right arm molds into a large heavy machine gun. This weapon has an extremely high rate of fire after a short wind-up time, consuming energy per shot. Enemy armor is reduced after each consecutive shot. -------- Level 2 decreases energy cost for [blitzkrieg] and adds [Harbinger]: Upon activation of [Harbinger], the Warframe errects a massive greatsword by replicating the Warframe's biomass. (Deals physical impact damage. Works the same way as the Gram/Scindo/Fragor.) -------- Level 3 increases the length of [Harbinger] and adds [Killswitch]: Sacrificing biomass, the Warframe erects a sphere from the body. When this sphere is tossed and lands on a flat surface, spikes shoot out from it impaling all targets within its vicinity. (This ability costs health.) Energy costs and damage stats are subject to be applied and changed. Will add more at a later date. Let me know what you think. Also "I" really dislike abilities that change how your weapons work. like the gauntlets. maybe have it so gauntlets appear out of thin air and smashes enemies near you or attack nearby enemies idk. Energy is dropped by machines or enemies with shield units.) [Riot-Shield][Hi-Jack] If the riot shield bumps into an enemy claws will come out and snatch the enemy. You then materialize into the enemy taking full control of it, the riot shield stays in place for a certain amount of time working as temporary cover. After hijacking the victim, you become unnoticed until the user attacks an enemy and causing the victim to explode and expel the Warframe. If the victim dies in combat, the Warframe is expelled from the body (This ability will not work on heavy units, bosses, Infested, or robots. Note that this ability has a very high energy cost.) Whip Lash is well.. too op? How can you split someone in half if there hp isnt even near 0? That means an enemy is split in half but is still alive. [Whip Lash] Upon activation, your warframe materializes a whip that grips the target centered in the reticle. The enemy becomes gripped and the Warframe is stuck in place. You then swing your whip and the target around yourself 1-2-3 times depending on lvl of Mod, this attack knocks down surrounding enemies. After your set amount of swings. Using the Warframe's energy to mold the biomass of a gripped enemy, the enemy enlarges and becomes circular turning it into a bomb. After critical mass is reached, the enemy is launched in front of the Warframe (Wherever your reticle is) dealing damage to whatever the enemy hits upon impact deals explosive damage. Energy is dropped by machines or enemies with shield units.) In essence I'm going off of Prototype's version of shapeshifting minus the disguise part. It'd be just about the same thing as gadget-materialization in principal. As for Power Glove, I decided to make it apply to Sithis's left hand only (I drew him that way), so I'll be updating the OP for that ability.
