I'm inclined to agree with drak. there's no context as far as I can tell as to where that post is coming from. Is your oc hallucinating? if so, where? is your post in the past? the present? is this on his ship? inside the convoy? (which shouldn't be a thing, as as far as I remember, I've stated that these particular corpus aren't going around grabbing Tenno)

As for you drak, when you're replying please make sure quote who you're replying to for future instances. It helps make clear just who you're talking to, as there may not always be an immediate reply and possibly several different posts from different times inbetween the the one you're replying to (or even a whole new page) by the time you click that reply button (like what escort's doing, if you need an example)

Oh I'm not scolding you if that's what you're thinking. Just think of it as constructive criticism to improve both your future RPing and your experience here. Nobody knows what they don't know until someone points it out to them after all. 

Just take what you have written, and try to see if the other person will get the point you're trying to make. If not, see what you can do to clarify. None of us are mind readers after all, so we can't understand your (or any other person's) context until you make it clear. 

Remember, what you may have written out in OOC may not necessarily translate over to the IC thread. We *may* know what you're trying to set out, but certainly none of the ocs know until you make an effort to explain it when they meet up if the situation arises.

Well, here's what I thought was going on. Altair was being tortured (and trying to be forcefully brainwashed) because Corpus tried to manipulate him but the Valkyr footage was their fatal mistake as Lotus spoke to our handy dandy Tenno warrior before he woke from the trance during the experiment and went on a rampage in a Mobile laboratory ship where they kept Altair's landing craft locked up and he did have to find a new orbiter, though. That's what went through my head because they provoked him into acting like a savage

And that's fine, that can be what you'e come up with for your oc's background. But as I've stated, it doesn't really correlate into what the RP's intro is doing right now. (the tracking down and infiltrating of the corpus ships to find out who's behind all the missing gear.) *That's* what the other ocs and players are jumping into first, as it's the start of the story's plot after all.

As I've said, none of the current corpus on stage are the Tenno cryopod robbing/torturing ones; they are simply (as far as the ocs know) escorting a shipment of cryotic to wherever they're heading for. Right now what you've got posted makes it difficult for any other player and oc to hook up with you down the line, as it's pretty off on a tangent. 

You're more than welcome to bring it up as a flashback or as a monologue to another player's oc(s) down the line, but as it stands I think it'd be better if you come up with a way for your oc to focus on what's going on right this moment in the asteroid belt, possibly spying and/or hooking up with the other active ocs. Otherwise, it's just your oc going on a spiel somewhere while the other ocs are tracking down the "case of the missing supplies"

- Mercury? What's Altair doing there in the first place? The plot is starting in the asteroid belt in case you were wondering where everyone is (reread the thread's intro if you're confused) Is he actually at Mercury, or just faking it in the asteroid belt? If he's faking it and *is* in the asteroid belt, please say so in your IC post. As it stands, if Altair`s stranded over Mercury none of the ocs are nowhere *near* the planet to mount any kind of rescue.

- turn it on? did you mean the scanner, or the frame? if the frame, how did Altair turn it on? did he flick a switch? injected energy into it like in TSD? Gotta clarify those details.

@Drakeardian You'll have to clarify if you don't mind. Are you surveying/following the addled freighter, the shuttle Escort's following, the Gox Wolfheart's tailing, or another one entirely?

@Wolfheart297 Your turn for me to remind you for subsequent posts to quote who you're replying to ^^;. It makes it easier to tell at a glance who's interacting with whom.

And as a general PSA for all of you, feel free to start replying comms with each other if you feel your ocs are in a position to do so. I'm not going to be putting any Tenno into the RP plot for a while yet, so don't wait for me to reply on the radio chatter (at least...not as a Tenno :x)

None of the other players are in a good position to bail you out as they're following the plot, and the onus is on you to get involved (you came up with Altair being stuck on your landing craft, I'm positive that you can come up with a way to get out of it)

If you can't get your oc into the action soon and sharpen up your posting (preferably within the next 1-2 posts), you might want to consider dropping out and looking elsewhere on the RP thread for role playing. The plot's not going to slow down for just one person, and if you can't jump in soon you're going to be left behind whether you like it or not.

I have school to deal with, working with a team in War Dragons, trying to get stuff done in Warframe, playing Dead Island, trying to actually get my own RP threads noticed(which apparently nobody wants to give a crap about at all because I'm new or being selfish jerks) , and dealing with my family. I'm sorry if I'm not staying on par with everyone. I'm usually only used to small groups that don't go hyperdrive on me. I have a life to contend with that has a lot for me to do

You may see different variation in other RP's here, but from what i've seen this is the norm.

Also, using the quote buttons below a users post is a great way of letting people know who is being spoken to or addressed.

@ArchwingPrime You might not know this, but you can actually quote multiple people when replying. Just click the quote button at the bottom of each person's post.

Quoting just me doesn't do me any good on your last post for example, when it's Escort your OC's replying to. Try to work it into a habit.
