So far I've taken this test six times; 4 of those times I've killed everyone in the first wave, using either my primary Vandal Braton, or one time using my Despair knives. And almost every time I've been told I failed the test. The one time I was told I'd beaten the first wave, I failed on the second wave.
The timing between killing the last enemy on Wave 1 and the failure of the test is always extremely tight, which I assume is the way it's supposed to work. But after 250+ hours of playing the game, while I'm not going to set any Tenno records, I should be able to pass this stupid test in less than six tries. My reflexes are passably good, my weapons are potatoed & maxed, I'm using Enemy Sense to find the little peckerwoods, I've left DethCube back at the barn, as far as I can tell I should be passing this.
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong, how I should be killing the enemies, which weapon or weapon-type I should be using or not using, etc., etc.? The Wiki doesn't seem to have any guidance on this particular jump (from 6 to 7) that I could find. The voiceover at the beginning of the test says 'my warframe is a weapon' - am I supposed to be using just melee weapons, or warframe powers or something, to beat this?
Does anyone know if they've recently upped the difficulty on the Mastery tests, or shortened the times? Like I said, I'm no expert, but I should be able to pass this test, and even when I'm able to beat just the first wave, it's only by the skin of my teeth, then to be told I've failed the test. This seems like it ought not to be this hard, which has me wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
