Make Dojos Feel More Alive

As it stands Clan Dojos are empty and desolate, we have all these giant "Grand Halls" with nothing in them. Sure we can put objects in them but in reality they're giant waste of space. Having special NPCs to provide bonuses, buffs, or other services would be terrific.

In Terraira you can randomly find NPCs in the world, once found they would return to your house to provided weapons, gear, materials and other things for your character. Having something similar to Warframes might make things interesting, especially if these NPCs are ranked like mods and materials, being Common, Uncommon and Rare; with using RNG they would randomly be on tilesets that would proc Lotus to give an updated special event for players to do. As an example if they're rescued and the mission is also completed in a certain amount of time they'll visit the clans Dojo to pay their respect. Once they've visited the clan Dojo a certain amount of times they then ask the clan leader if they can stay.

Some highlights at what these NPC's could provide

- Special Materials, Modules, and blueprints only they can provide. I understand that the Dojo's have laboratories inside them to provide blueprints and materials but it feels so sterile. Having NPC's walking around the Dojo that you can interact with would make things feel more busy.

- Clan Wide Buffs; minor increases to HP, Energy, Credit Gain or Experience

- NPC's could have flavored text and lore to describe who they are, where they come from and what their opinions are on the Tenno, Grineer, and Corpus

I think we did have this before. Also I think for some things there is Cpt. Vor's shop.

We did but it desolved into not having romances. I'll drop the romance options for now and leave this for people to ponder and discuss.

I understand we'll have a Cpt. Vor's Shop but that doesn't excuse how deserted our Dojo's can be, especially for the larger clans. Having NPC's that can regularly walk around our Dojos that we can interact with would make things a lot more lively.

I believe this is the Grandest Hall (largest one) in my clans Dojo. There is literally nothing in here. The only time people come into the Dojo is when they want a blueprint, go to the dueling area on the second floor, or go to the obstacle course. These rooms LITERALLY have no purpose. Why not have the chance and ability to add NPC's that can help the Clan out that patrol/walk around these rooms?

I'd recommend DE taking a look at the way Star Trek Online handles their starbases. You're able to upgrade the activity and rooms of the starbase. You can add guards, tribbles, displays of ships, holograms of ships, line of uniforms showing the progression of them through time, a bar, places to interact in minigames(not yet implemented) with your fellow players.

Walking into a starbase that's brand new feels empty, but as the starbase exists, and time passes, more and more things are added and make it feel more alive and thriving, even when you're the only player inside.

That'd be great to do Rekindle

I mean I know we have statues and flag post but still it's just so boring. I know DE has a lot on their plate but they should take this into consideration.

IMO the answer is really simple. Let the Dojo be a Lobby Space for Clan members. I do keep going on about this, but if we had 3rd party server options we could put up as permanent/semipermanent hosts then we could have persistent Dojo spaces for clan members.

The fact that we can't get the Global/Recruitment chat in mission (which the Dojo is) kind of hurts using it as 'place to be'. Why sit in the Dojo when you need to be in the normal game lobby just to see General region chatter.

We would probally add Lotus members, as long as we don't get too much lag.

Oh, yes every time I go in clan Dojo it feels so lifeless, I play Terraria and there is a big difference between that game and Warframe because it feels more natural

This would be interesting.

Granted - we don't even know what the Tenno who aren't wearing Warframes look like. Civilian Tenno is a concept that hasn't been covered yet.

Well we do have Lotus Operatives that we can save on certain missions. Why not have a few of those around?

They need to add more features to the dojo so that it's actually worth hanging out there when you're not doing any missions. Yeah I know they added the obstacle course but once I've reached a desirable score/time I just don't see the interest in hanging out there anymore and duels are not my thing. Honestly there's not much to do in the dojo. I'm having more fun chilling out during an actual mission with my in game friends by taking our time.

Would like some of those operatives we rescue to end up at our tower.

Give them labcoats and have them studying various artifacts in the tech rooms. Or monitoring. The reactor. Some pilots sitting around the coffee machine. Any glimpse into the background support would make it all the more engaging.

Anything would be amazing. Also if we could get a giant floating head of Lotus that talks to our clan members
