ungolas
what is the best way to level up mods? also i've notice that some mods seem to give more than others to different weapons.... what determines how much a mod will give when fused into another mod? X3Evanescence
Identical mods give the most fusion energy (the bar beside the mod) when fused. Next, mods with identical polarities (e.g. Fusing Serration with Blunderbuss, both got the V shape on the top left) gives more fusion energy than those with different polarities. Dem, I forgot about that. I've been randomly fusing mods again. Oh well. Oh and don't forget fusion mods.

eStecko
Most energy you got from...Identical mods > fusion cores > same polarity > all othersrare > uncommon > common also does give you more energy and rarer the mod is, it needs more energy to be fused up Edited July 20, 2013 by eStecko
BeefyScar
also dont forget the cost. fusing the same type of mods cost very little. but once you use fusion cores credit cost ramp up quite alot, and gets massive if you fuse ton of different mods. BrianRyan
Well personally I just mash every mod I get into the one I want to level at the time and then move on to mashing all mods I get into the next one I want to level up.
Saenol
Well personally I just mash every mod I get into the one I want to level at the time and then move on to mashing all mods I get into the next one I want to level up. Ultimately this is a huge waste of mods and credits. Same pile of mods, fused with more care, could easily go twice as far. At the very least I try to match polarity. eStecko
Well personaly i only fuse duplicates togather. Fusion cores using only on high ranks of Serration and Redirection or rare mods that go above 3 ranks, like multishot or new nightmare mods. For abilities fusing other ability mods.
