Difference Between Regular And Prime Frames

I've checked the wiki, a few sites and have looked around the forums as well, but I couldn't find out what's difference between the prime and the normal version of a frame aside from the one more polarized slot it came with if there is anything else. Can someone help me out with this please?

Prime versions have extra polarit(ies) and have gold trim bling. 

 

that's it. and good that that's it too, they're not OP compared to their normal counterparts or anything, just mostly bling.

pretty much that polarity slot, also in void missions when 1 of them orbs (laser or thumper) active it recharges your energy to full. not 100% on that tho.

If you get close to any of the dethorbs in Void with Prime frame, it will emit a pulse that will restore energy to all nerby frames.

pretty much what they said. polarity slot (useless now that we have formas), the color palette, and void energy buffs.

imo their stats should increase a wee bit more, like 5% more on the whole. wouldn't make them too OP but would give u a reason to use them since the added polarity is almost useless.

You have polarity withot needing of leveling up to 30 and starting all over. Thus you can get more polarities in the same time and with the same amount of forma.

  Yep, this^ if you like the initial polarities. Saves a forma and a sh*tload of time. I like what taiiat said, "just mostly bling" with all that gold lol never thought of it that way. I'd love to be able to change the gold to silver instead imo...

i'm sorry, but i found the added polarities almost useless on my prime everything since i had to change them anyway.

personal opinions, sorry if u disagree. if we had never gotten formas, prime stuff would be a hot commodity because of those polarities. formas, on the other hand, essentially render that slot near useless, unless it's favorable to your personal build.

edit: worst part, u don't get mastery for any item more than once.. so 5+ formas on my excal prime = a lot of affin -.-

they also have their own unique helms, but what they do for the frame vs regular frames and alt helms, i don't know.

I prefer them as they are now, like in the game Guild Wars (the first one) the armor that cost 1k/piece offers the same as the one for 15k/piece, they were pretty much like cosmetic upgrades and I liked it that way because no one was less competitive because he/she didn't have the time/money to invest.

pretty much. primes have slightly altered patterns on the warframe and not just the helm. so basically polarity and the looks is all.

if you prefer the prime's general look but dont like the helm, you can put on the vanilla version's helm on the prime (if you have the vanilla version)
