Orthos - An Annoying Twist

Heya peeps.

I'm sure people have noticed this with the Orthos but when your swinging away (especially against infested) then a mod / orb appears from the corpse and then your Orthos clips it and whack it goes flying over the edge into oblivion or to the other side of the room where you can't find it?

Just curious if this is a bug or an intended feature that allows me to play cricket with my Orthos?

(Oh for all those over the pond who don't know what cricket it then use baseball)

I like this post because it was well written =D

personally I've never, or at least don't recall it ever happening. at least not with the Orthos. I've had it happen with my Hate and Reaper Prime though xD

The same can be said for pretty much any weapon. If you kill an enemy, the mods and drops go flying... everywhere, except ammo, that usually land within a metre of the body. I agree that this is annoying. It needs to be changed so that items dropped from kills land where you can get them.

We purposely play golf with our Orthos' all the time, makes for hilarious times!

Or baseball with Heavy Gunner corpses using a Kogake pitcher and a Scindo batter.

If the orb/mod is in the air you can turn into a terminal velocity projectile, you get used to it when using the faster weapons.
