With the same logic, "prolonging" bladestorm should result in more targets being hit. It would definitely make continuity and constitution convenient mods for Ash, and make use of that 2nd useless offensive polarity. I mean, it kills like 13 enemies or so, within a pretty good range. The ability itself takes quite a while to end already, and you rarely see more than 13 enemies in 1 spot.
