Fluffy's warframe concepts - weapons and enemies! (Newest concept - GANYMEDE)

Recommended Posts

Swazdo-lah, surah! Welcome to my concept thread!

This thread will be my way to write about my various Warframe concepts - which'll usually be weaponry. Though I have a few other concepts I want to play around with! Also, from now on, there'll be no more than two concepts per post! Three if there's a syndicate weapon, prime weapon, and uh, not-prime weapon. My latest concept is immediately below!

If you want more, make sure to take a look at the Table of Contents.

Other Concepts

Concepts that don't really fit into any other slot - Art Dumps, characters, mission types, mods...

Guest Hour Super Create

Work done by or with friends, fans, and others! Out of respect for the bonds we've formed, this part will not be spoilered out. Thanks, guys!

1. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Mos Naganta (Tenno)
By @Almighty_Jado! Check out his deviantart here! But more importantly, check out his thread at The Legion of Tau, here! It's a very interesting thread, full of enemy designs, weapons, and probably absolutely the best Sentient designs I've seen here. I've even contributed a bit!

2. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Fuselok lineart (Grineer)
Art of my battle rifle / Dust 514 Rail Rifle hybrid, drawn by Modernmercenary. Who, as far as I know, does not have an account on these forums. Do the next best thing and check out his deviantart here!

3. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Fuselok 2 Electric Boogaloo (Grineer)
By @Almighty_Jado. I... was genuinely surprised to see another drawing of the Fuselok. Except this time he made it do double-duty as a flamethrower! Not quite what I had in mind, but that does sound pretty dope. But seriously though check out his thread.

4. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Trokar by Unus (Grineer)
Single-shot hand cannon designed by @Unus, drawn by me! Check out Unus' thread. It's...

Okay, I was going to try to describe it, but I can't. There's such a massive amount of creative concepts that it's beyond description. Just go see it for yourself!

5. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Thrombocyst (Infested)
Shouts out again to @Almighty_Jado for this one! I made a drawing of it, and Jado later expanded on it.

8. BONUS HOUR COLLAB CREATE: Vaculyst/Vorticibus enemy design with Almighty Jado (Sentient)
Yet more shouts out to @Almighty_Jado - I made the Vaculyst design, and he made an enemy to go with it!

9. GUEST HOUR SUPER CREATE: Sancti Avakan by Almighty_Jado (New Loka/Tenno)
...How many shouts out to @Almighty_Jado am I gonna have to give? Probably a lot.

ART DUMP 1

tenno_guns__by_haruaxeman-daxf334.jpg

This is what I call an Art Dump - it's a quick look at my vision for new guns in Warframe. Everything here has originally been posted in the thread, but they'll be reposted later with their own individual posts.

But, if you're really curious as to what these do, you can just check them out on my deviantart. Until I make individual posts for all of them, anyway. Apologies for cutting out detailed stuff like the Trejek shotgun, Helica rifle, and Avakan - I just didn't want this to get too wall of texty. You'll see those SOON though.

NOTE: As inspired by @Unus, I decided to re-organize this art thread! A lot of earlier comments are from before I heavily edited this thread.

All you concepts are pretty awesome and the art's really well done as well.

Also have you thought of making a fully infested version of the Boltor? Perhaps it could be the be like the bigger brother to the Tysis.

Oooh, thanks!

As for making a fully infested version, well.... actually, I've never thought of that, but that sounds really cool, especially now that I just googled what the Tysis is like. (I've never used the Tysis)

Thanks for the idea ^~^

tenno__proxima__grenade_launcher_by_haru

"Proxima" grenade launcher:

"This Tenno grenade launcher has two firing modes - sticky proximity mines, and bouncing grenades that detonate upon rolling to a compete stop or within a certain radius of an enemy. It does blast damage and slash damage, with very high status chance."

Shamelessly inspired by the Sheng Long grenade launcher from Shadow Warrior.

Edit: Personally, the top version is my favorite. It feels just sleek enough to be Tenno.

Like your idea, I've always wanted a Tenno launcher of some sort.

Why thank you ^~^. Sometimes, I like to come up with thought experiments like "What if X faction had Y weapon that all the others do?" And a proximity-detonated grenade launcher for the Tenno seemed like a fun idea. I like proximity-detonated weapons, they make grenade launchers so much more fun.

...Seriously, even the infested have their own grenade launcher, and they're seemingly the last to get new guns.

Also, fun fact - this is the grenade launcher it was based on. It was impossible for me to look at it and not think "Tenno."

tenno__lupus__lmg_and__oliphaunt__huntin

"Lupus" LMG (top)

"The Lupus is an awkward conversion from bolt-action rifle to fully-automatic weapon, with unique dual-status properties that allow it to bury enemies under an avalanche of status."

The Lupus was built from the bolt-action rifle immediately below it. More on that later.

Its altfire allows it to somehow switch elemental damage, as its high impact damage stunlocks enemies. I'm not entirely sure how this works. Maybe one mode gives it incendiary bullets and another one gives it ice? Or maybe it changes the order of the elemental mods you have on your weapon - a corrosive-fire type build for use against corpus becomes a gas-electric build that does AoE damage. It's hard to say. Also, it fires two shots with each trigger pull!

Mechanically speaking, this should be to status what the Soma is to crit. That said, the Lupus has an abnormally high crit multiplier, but a below-average critical chance.

Fun fact - the status-changing mechanism is immediately behind the bolt. This is why the receiver is so huge.

"Oliphaunt" bolt-action rifle

An elegant, accurate sporting and hunting rifle built for Orokin elite, typically used against wildlife the Orokin themselves engineered... and Grineer laborers that displeased their Orokin taskmasters."

What if the Sybaris was duplex-auto? These are serious questions. The Oliphaunt uses the same trigger type as the Tigris, while maintaining a similar two-shot-manual-action mechanic to the Sybaris. While the Sybaris Prime is predominantly slash damage, this is mostly puncture based.

Also, the bolt takes longer to work than the Sybaris' lever. The longer you hold down the trigger to fire the second shot, the more powerful it will be and the more punch-through it has. That said, there is a cap on how much power it can gain.

Artist notes:

These... were surprisingly hard to draw. They're essentially based on idea after idea overflowing in my mind. The Lupus was actually the first idea - in fact, I was trying to draw a battle rifle like the Latron but inspired by the Johnson Rifle, then I thought that the Johnson Rifle's rotary magazine might make Warframe players think of an LMG. Then I felt like looking at the Huot Automatic Rifle and ZzVinniezZ 's Tenno bolt-action rifle concept, and making a Huot-equivalent for the latter. Then I realized I wanted a switchable damage-type weapon, and gave it to the Lupus.

Then I realized I wanted to draw the rifle the Lupus had been built from - and then I looked at the Szecsei and Fuchs African Queen rifle for inspiration.  I realize the Oliphaunt's stock doesn't look anything like the Lupus', but I really wanted a jezail-style stock on a weapon in Warfarme.

BLOODY ELL SIR/MAM! HOW THE ELL DID I MISS OUT ON VIEWING YOUR WORK!?! A fellow who can do interesting thought experimentation AND provide deliciously sketched art to go along side them?! Thats as rare as an Indian Rhinoceros in my book. If I was a greedy Sonofabetch, i'd be on my knees groveling for your assistance with a personal project of mine, but, for now, allow me to peruse your gallery and leave my trail of wooden nickels/two cents across the bottom.

1. Don't really have much to say about you Depezador.

2.Don't have much to say about the Infested Bolter.

3. Can't say I can disagree with that there Hibenion suh/mam. I worked on a few un-sniper weapons over in the pit to try and right the sad fact, but, eh, folks wither ignore em, can't find em, or dislike em. Maybe luck be with you this time?

4. A tech-weapon shelved for the Old War perhaps? Maybe even used by disposable Grineer operatives when the Orokin needed a job done good but without dirtied hands, back when there was control over the gene-pool. Perhaps the current Karak traces it's lineage back to this complicated beast?

5. Sounds crazy enough that it just might work! I think of it as something meant to kill untold horrors in or near the depths of the dark deep-sea, things with squirming tentacles and to many eyes that like to stay out of arm's reach.

6. This one right here? This one sounds quite juicy I must say. I've always loved burst-auto guns since my days with me ol pal the hammerburst, the "mad burst" alternate is just icing on the cake in my book, can keep that bronco at home.

7. Hehe, I can imagine these suckers being wielded by twitchy grineer grunts with poor aim. Could call em Spases. . . . ..(wink)

8. All my attempts at an exotic version of thisun and you go and make the ""obvious"". I mean that in a good way, because you pull it off with as few words and as much art as humanly possible, much applause here!

9. Another piece for the "Report-In" collection eh? Not bad at all considering the current absence of one. Day 1000 reward mayhaps?

10. Its cumbersome, held together with a hope and a prayer, but goddem does it look gorgeous. Whats it gonna fire? Ell if I know, pull the trigger and find out! Sounds like the Tiberon forger found his next muse judging by the looks.

11. Heh, a chimera made from an endless stack of concepts flowing in eh? Boy howdy do I know how you feel suh/mam. An interesting exercise in patience this one is. Hmmm. . . . . dunno how the players might feel about it.

Thats all I got for now suh/mam! Looking forward to seeing more material show up at a future time while I scriven away in me old massive crater in the ground. See ya round!

To be honest, I sometimes think it's the weakest weapon I've conceptualized, mechanics wise - to the point I ended up giving it an Arca Scisco-ish combo mechanic just to make it stand out. I actually change up the mechanics and damage types pretty frequently just to make it sound fun - maybe the shotgun mode has high knockback and can stun enemies? Or the Telos version has a flaregun altfire? Or, to stand out next to the Telos version, the prime version's altfire does cryo? I'm never totally sure what to do here.

That said, I did want a Tenno version of the Lemat, so in that way I'm proud of it.

I actually see a lot of Grineer weapons as "dumbed-down" descendants of Orokin and Tenno weapons but more brutal - the Harpak being a descendant of the Boltor, for example. So this is a really interesting idea! I approve.

That is reasonable! Plus, it'll be great against Infested.

Thank you! Besides... well, this was conceived after a long day of trying to use the Tonkor and watching it harmlessly bounce off of Grineer. Plus, I like proximity mines!

In retrospect, I feel like it'd end up being either MR fodder or something that's good but non-meta.

Still, it'd probably be interesting for people to try.

1. Hehe, there's a thought. Flip the barrel up on a hinge, flip a switch somewhere, BOOM, all the chambers become barrels for a lovely kick-back shot when somebody gets to-close for comfort. Could upgrade it to rag-doll-infliction for the primed version.

2 for 4. Huh, well that's a rare treat, your welcome go that. The Harpak  being a Grin emulation of the bolter? That's a new one in my book. Not an insane idea though, especially with the whole burston-hind parallel.

I'm impressed.

Wish I could draw my weapon concepts as well as you

Thank you so much!  It'd probably be better if I made single-weapon posts, I could keep this going for months by doing it! But sometimes, you just gotta fill pages with concepts as long as you can.

What you COULD do (although it might be too much trouble at this point) is that you could make a "central thread" and post all the weapon concepts/series in separate threads and let the central thread link to all of them. Maybe. idk lol

Keep up the good work!

IS IT CONCEPT TIME AGAIN?!

more_warframe_weaponry_by_haruaxeman-dbv

Mutalist Vulkar:

"Sicken your enemies from afar with this Infested sniper rifle, punching through armor and shields with its toxic quills."
--The Lotus

Artist notes: Seeing as Toxin damage seems like the most useful elemental damage type (Ignores corpus shields, bonus damage to Grineer armor, can be modded into Corrosive, Gas, and Viral) I decided to make a sniper rifle that did toxin damage by default. The toxic infested quills it fires are heavily puncture-focused, and have some punch-through by default.

Part of me wanted to give this the chance to Infest enemies when you kill them, but... that was just too horrible.

Fervid

"Sure, this ugly Grineer gun went critical, but we Mycona are experts at repurposing things. A pistol - if you can call it a pistol - becomes a shotgun! Try the Fervid, and SHOW THE SUPERPOWERS OF THE SYSTEM WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HURT THE INDEPENDENT COLONIES!"
--Tarja Lem, the Mycona Trader

Primary fire: Shotgun

Secondary: Acid grenade - discharges 5 rounds in an arcing, bouncing projectile that does toxin damage and explodes next to enemies.

artist notes: Essentially, this is a Mutalist Acrid. The Acrid never really read as a pistol to me, and I was left wondering: What happens if it goes critical? So I created the Fervid. In the case of the Fervid, the Infested containment tube around the barrel suffered a catastrophic containment failure. And - as infested weaponry so often does - it mutated into a new form. An auto shotgun!

Oh, and it does toxin damage.

Tessera

"The Corpus use this combat pistol to... discipline... misbehaving Crewmen, executives, agitators, undesirables, and the unprofitable. For their abuses of others, their workers, the Mycona and us Perrin among them, I suggest. You. Discipline. Them. Right. Back."
-- Ergo Glast, President of the Perrin Sequence.

The Tessera is an electricity and puncture-based sidearm. The Corpus Board of Directors, however, wanted to save money, and decided that giving the Tessera viability as a combat pistol would give it added utility against Grineer and other threats. Sure, it hurt their Crewmen and other laborers, but they could always hire or build more.

So essentially, it's a Corpus taser (Well, electrolaser?) pistol! Using advanced Corpus technology, it fires a laser that forms an electrically conductive laser-induced plasma channel, delivering long-range electric shocks. Think of it like the little brother to the Amprex. While it has less crowd-control capacity than the Amprex, it also has longer range and requires more precision.

Syndicate Variant: Secura Tessera

"In light of the Corpus resorting to dirtier tricks to control the remaining parts of the system, we of the Perrin Sequence decided that removing any nonlethal measures from this pistol was more... profitable."

--Ergo Glast

Yes, I planned on this. The Secura Tessera has (of course) improved stats and crit, with the Perrin "Sequence" effect which releases a radial burst of of, uh, radiation. The Secura Tessera has inherent Punch-Through and creates explosions upon kills.

Artist notes: As for why I made the Tessera, well... I was a bit annoyed at the time that the Corpus didn't have many viable, rugged pistols I could imagine any unit using. If that makes sense. The Cycron is comically weak due in part to its low magazine size, the Detron is heavy and cumbersome and is functionally a shotgun, the Amprex is a pocket rocket launcher, and the Cestra series... exists. As for the Sonicor, Staticor, and Arca Scisco... actually, those might work well for Corpus units, but I wasn't thinking about them when I made this. But, with the possible exception of the Acra Scisco, they get a bit niche. I wanted a Corpus weapon that focused on utility above all, as part of the mindset that many Corpus weapons feel like repurposed tools.

Duello

"An Orokin-era revolver that was used to settle disputes - often between executives of proto-Corpus, Executors, and other important officials."
--The Lotus

Essentially, this is to the Akjagara what the Pandero is to the Akvasto. Low magazine, lower fire rate... but incredible damage. This has built-in multishot, and it does puncture damage. This pistol is supremely controllable, with low recoil, high stability, and tight spread.  It has a slightly worse ammo economy than the Akjagara, but it trades this for range.

In terms of burst damage, though, it's outclassed by the Pandero. In terms of sustained damage, though, it's outdone by the Depezador. It also has an abnormally high headshot multiplier - but, as this is a shotgun pistol, this may not always come into play. This is a general-purpose revolver that should be good against everything, really.

Artist notes: To be honest, I don't know much about this one - I just really wanted to make a 2-round burst Tenno revolver. Tenno revolvers are fun. But this one would be fun because it's boring but practical.

Verdictus

"Tenno shotgun pistol. This ensured that the judgment of the Orokin Empire was swift, final, and indisputable."
--The Lotus

Think of this as a sidearm version of the Drakgoon. While it doesn't have the raw damage of the Drakgoon, it trades this for accuracy, in a shotgunlike spray of projectiles that do not arc - and they bounce at least once!

It has some falloff though. Not as much as other shotgun pistols, but it does exist. I can imagine the Brakk outdoing this in terms of burst damage and fire rate.

Artist notes: I... also wanted another shotgun revolver.

Modicor

"Created when one of our Tenno operatives came to me, concerned about the health of our Gammacor-armed operatives in Grineer bases and Infested dens. It fires a beam from a circular laser array, perfect for coring ice, mining, and self-defense."
--Cephalon Suda

Primary Fire - Burst-auto mode: fires a continuous beam for a second.

Secondary Fire - Shotgun mode: fires a wide dispersal beam that acts like, well, a shotgun. This consumes the same energy as 2 bursts.

A slash-damage focused weapon that was made for two purposes: 1, retrieving ice cores from planets such as Europa, 2, defending from Grineer. It also has a chance to do heat damage on kills!

Syndicate Variant: Synoid Modicor

"A Modicor rebuilt for my most trusted operatives."
--Cephalon Suda

This has an innate Entropy effect that releases radial magnetic damage. It also does inherent electric damage, and kills with this weapon have increased resource drop chance.

Artist notes: Seriously though, why does cephalon Suda send people against Grineer armed with Gammacors? Magnetic damage is useless against Grineer!

Guillot

"A corpus shotgun created to cleanse the Infestation. It is quite good for, ah... cleaning up troublesome experiments."
--Alad V

Primary Fire - Bouncing Bolas: fires two projectiles with an plasma arc between them. Anything caught in this arc is inflicted with massive amounts of slash damage.
Secondary Fire - Anchored Bolas: Fires a bolas that anchors to the nearest surface that it hits, creating a spinning razor trap that cuts through Infested.

Artist notes: really, this is two deadspace 3 weapons in one.

Flambard

"A tenno flamberge with a pistol in the hilt."
--The Lotus

artist notes: Actually, this is a rapier. This originated when I asked myself two questions: 1, "Wouldn't it be cool if rapiers could shoot bullets when you thrust forward?" And 2, "wait, flamberges can be rapiers?"

Originally, I was going to make the Endura but with a pistol barrel in the middle of its two, uh, prongs. I was hamstrung by the fact that it looked like the Endura. I was also going to make a Tenno flamberge (If you're wondering what it is, here) but then I found out that flamberges can also be rapiers, and I found that I couldn't resist. Its blade (or blades?) has the same texture as the karyst.

Fun fact - the projectile has punch through! The projectile does mostly puncture damage, while the flamberge is mostly slash-focused. It has a heavier focus on slash damage and crit than the Destreza and Endura.

I am also considering a Syndicate version, but... I don't really feel like it.

Urumi
"Lacerate enemies with this whip-like sword's multiple blades, and become a whirling tempest from which Grineer, Infested, and Corpus alike have no escape."
--Teshin

This is a whip sword! It's got low puncture, but who cares - IT'S A WHIP SWORD WITH MULTIPLE BLADES. There's also some impact, I guess.

Also, this thing has a high mastery requirement.

Shuanguou

"A set of hook swords capable of disarming the enemy."
--The Lotus

Twin hook swords! While these have low puncture damage, which limits effectiveness against Grineer... they also have a chance to disarm enemies while attacking them. The utter utility of these should make them fun to try.

Syndicate Variant: Rakta Shuanguou

"Disarm and butcher those who prey on the weak of the Origin System."
--Cantis, Red Veil leader.

Oh, this will be a fun one. It does bonus damage to disarmed enemies, and gives a bonus to attack speed and/or range after a kill.

Ooooooooo, hehe, I see you've gone down the path of the faction themeing concept. Fun fun, time to go to work.

1. I was JUST considering one just like your last comment, but, I couldn't for the life of me think of how to make it not overpowered. Looking at yours, perhaps yours could gestate a maggot on kill or if all bullets in a mag hit a target?

2. Freedom fighter poison pistol eh? Not much I can comment on here. Mmmmmm, fungaltastic.

3. Ah, a dystopian future amped-up P.E.P. Interesting how we both channeled the Perrinites with electro-discharge weapons, albeit what I had was a Perrinite bounty-rifle. Also, designs reminds me of a Tau plasma-pulse pistol.

4. (Shrieks incoherently at "weak" and "Cycron" being used in the same sentence.)

5. I can't tell from the diagram, are you saying it bursts and has two shots in the cylinder or that it's a revolver that fires in two round bursts?

6. So something with a better choke on it eh? A "Birding Shotgun for Manhunting". That's all right, it's good that your enjoyment isn't based on how others feel about your own concepts.

7. Ah, reminds me of my Betacore, but with a much different take on the mechanics end. Not much to say other then we were of like minds over the lack of primary weaponry available to the Sudites.

8. Heh, Raiding Alad's closet are we? Interesting take on the concept. Might be quite complimentary with a Vauban on hand to create a sort of "meat blender" when an Ignis just wouldn't be enough.

9. Ah, bladeguns, we like-mind once again with punch-through pistol blades, though mine is a mace and yours is a flamrapier/rapiame. Think I've seen a few in museums kinda like this one.

10. Ah, so a metal "cat-o-nine-tails" eh? Torturous, but no doubt a veritable slash-effect machine. Not much else I can say.

11. Hmmm. . . hopefully it's a well-balanced chance so it doesn't invalidate certain abilities, but, given how we are readily disarmed by drahk master, potential for payback might be lovely.

12. Ah, something quite complimentary for the Loki players out there to wield. Lovelly.

Heh, I see you work in much bigger bursts then I do over in the Pit Mr. 36.

Have you considered doing the ideas one-at-a-time in here and having a post for each one? That way, it's easier for folks to digest what your showing off AND move it around without giant blotch islands of work. Great aesthetic as before though.

Actually, it mutated into a primary shotgun! The Infestation was just that extensive.

Eh, it's more Taser than PEPS. Just with lasers instead of wires and prongs. Originally, I would've made it shoot projectiles, but then I was all like "Ehhhh, electrolaser sounds MUCH more Corpus."

I'm actually really interested to hear what you have to say about your rifle concept!

It actually holds like 10 rounds in the cylinder - it fires both barrels at once. Except the barrels are in the 6 'o clock position! It's basically this thing here:

Fun fact - originally, the spread would've depended on how often you pulled the trigger, but that just felt... too unintuitive and annoying, and people would be all like "THIS THING HAS COMICAL INACCURACY AND TRAVEL TIME, MR FODDER." So, it became a pocket drakgoon! Plus, Drakgoon is fun.

Honestly, that wouldn't be a bad idea - I was thinking maybe I could revisit some of the drawings I did! Like the Balaenis. Or how I also redid the Depezador Prime awhile ago. IT'S ALL GOLD AND STUFF NOW

It'd let me be more detailed... honestly, the "fill up a page with gun" thing is less about my process and more about challenging myself.

Anyway, thanks so much for your insightful commentary! More to come SOON(tm)

As always, the magic of mutilated nanotech never seeks to be dull! Between the Paracyst and the Torid, all sorts of ""fun"" reactions to be had.

Ahhhhhhh, I get it now suh! Was trying to grasp the mechanics of it. Think I see what it is now, more of an ultra-mega defense ""flashlight"", S.P.F. 40k required.

The link is right here

But, cutting through all the corporate jargon and fasttalk, it's basically a hollowed out modern assault-rifle framework with the flashy "electro-punk" internals of an electron beam buried inside and an integrated camera on top for recording kills to the Sequence Kill-Net. Fun and profit be ye killer or swamp. . . poppet? Feck.

OH! One of the old doubly whammies!

Ahhhhh, I understand the issue there then suh. Alotta Warframe players seem to have very eager trigger fingers, so it makes perfect sense you'd come to that conclusion of Drakgoonification.

Indian? Polynesian? Having trouble identifying the culture, but, I have no doubt it's what I'm looking at.

Ah, so you HAVE gone back and reiterated on some things. Then it sounds like it'd be even better to make the place a more permanent residence. Who knows, maybe you'll be given a Prime Time poke for em!

I like to think that Infested weaponry exists because the Orokin used the Technocyte as a building tool, and some Infested matter forms itself into weaponry due to the remnants of ancient Orokin programming.

I certainly do! While I have made aimed, accurate shots, I tend to get a bit... spammy. Imagining the Verdictus without such an obvious indicator of accuracy, in the middle of a tense fight just seemed too horrible to contemplate.

By the way, I have an idea - maybe I could make another thread, dedicated mostly to single images of each? Unless the post includes multiple variants of the same weapon. I think this is beyond organization like your thread is.

Depezador series (In general)

An series of Tenno revolvers that are to the Pandero what the Akmagnus is to the Akvasto, just without the Pandero's incredible burst DPS and altfire. These weapons thrive on sustained damage, with a boost to its critical chance and multiplier (but NOT to status) on repeated hits or after a kill. This can decay over time, and it loses some (but not all) stacks on a miss. This can stack very well with the Depezador series' abnormally high headshot multiplier.

Despite having lower physical damage stats than the Pandero (with slightly increased critical chance and multiplier) they're easily able to keep pace (if not even outpace) the Pandero under the right conditions. They boast high status and crit, and a slightly lower fire rate. Each of them have a shotgun altfire with inherent punch-through and high impact damage, which knocks enemies down or stuns them when they get too close - though it can only be fired once per magazine.

Depezador

“A unique Tenno revolver firing laser-cored frangible slugs that shatter inside the body.”

In terms of damage numbers, this is in a weird place - it's sort of midway between the Akvasto and Aklex in terms of role and damage. Not the prime version, mind - this is meant to be a new player-friendly handcannon that stops being as good around Saturn or thereabouts.

tenno__depezador__revolver_by_haruaxeman

Telos Depezador

A heavily slash-focused revolver that launches a flaregun shot instead of a shotgun, but stats are overall enhanced from the normal version. Maybe this should actually use Depezador Prime's model, it looks much cooler to me.

Its flaregun altfire keeps it competitive with the Depezador Prime.

DEPEZADOR PRIME

"During the Old War, this Orokin revolver served as an officer's handgun for Dax soldiers. It typically found use executing substandard Grineer - and even Sentients.”

Primary Fire
Damage:
67
    slash: 35
    puncture: 23
    impact: 9
Critical Chance: 32%
Critical Multiplier: 3.0x
Status Chance: 14%
Magazine Size: 9 (+1 shotgun)
Fire Rate: 3.8 rounds per second
Reload: 1.5s

Secondary Fire
Damage: 700
    Cold: 453
    Impact: 170
    Puncture: 77
Magazine Size: 1
Fire Rate: N/A
Status Chance: 26%
Critical Chance: 11%
Critical Multiplier: 3.6x

A primed version of the Depezador, with higher damage, higher status, and higher crit chance and a shotgun altfire mode. It also has extra slash damage, serving as a pocket slash-damage sniper rifle. Its altfire has even higher status chance, and inherent cryo damage!

Judgeing from the swarm that seems to live in our nano-forge fabricator, I don't actually doubt that theory.

Yeahhhh, without the punch-through and richochet effects that the Drak has, the twitchy community would likely do as you say.

Urumi eh? Ritualistic or combative? One of the few bits I've seen that seems to sit right on that weird balancing pole between ornamental and practical.

It can be sir! It took me 86 entries to get the bosses attention, unexpectedly at that, but that was all without art for those who can read. For an artist though? It's much muuuuccchhh easier.

OH! This isn't unsalvageable, you could keep it just as it is, with the little clumps of concepts right where you introduced them. The key is to get all the art scooted onto page 1, and then to break it down piecemeal with detail

Successive hits with this weapon increase the critical multiplier and critical chance of the weapon for a short time - but this can decay, and the rate drops upon misses. Think of it like the Target Analysis bonus on the Arca Scisco.

Just like you've apparently begun doing now!

Thaaattttsss the gist of it suh! Eye-candy up front, crunch in the back. A few historic comments in between to remind you of the path that brought you here.

Say! I've gotta ask, ya ever been to a little place called Discord? I've had many of an associate of mine get popular over there by showing off a bit of their paint and brush, quil and ink, pencil and sketchbook, or stylus and reactive screen.

Ell, I'd cite it as the reason why me Pit grew so significantly aside from heros like Mr. Rhekemi and Mr. 215 who critiqued it as it started to grow.

The re-editing is underway! What do you think? Especially of the newly edited Depezador series?

Anyway:

6: The Meridian Shotgun! Now SBIGHAM APPROVED, BABYYYYY-

tenno__meridian__shotgun_by_haruaxeman-d

"This intricate automatic shotgun is capable of launching its magazine for use as an antipersonnel mine."

The 'Meridian' shotgun has two modes - standard full-auto shotgun, and "launcher mode," in which it launches the entire magazine towards the nearest surface. The magazine will then stick to said surface as an improvised antipersonnel mine, and release every shotgun round left in the magazine at once when an enemy is in close proximity.

A Tenno automatic shotgun inspired by  official warframe concept artist Sean Bigham's drawings of the Zenistar, Zenith, and Azima anniversary weapons - but especially the Azima.  This actually went through a lot of ideas - part of me wanted to make it burstfire, but... I dunno, I just don't like burstfire shotguns. You're already shooting a huge spray of rounds, why make the blast longer than normal? It doesn't make sense to me. The ability to launch the magazine was inspired by the Pancor Jackhammer shotgun - one of its various functions was the ability to turn fully loaded mags into antipersonnel mines.

It holds 15-20 rounds, and does mostly puncture damage.

Fun fact: Sean Bigham approves of this WHAT WHAT!

So far, it appears to be taking shape quite well, although, for some odd reason, the original and Telos' pictures appear to have been. . . stretched for some reason? Probably unavoidable, like what happened to the first Feynman pic and Juha and Shidan over in the Pit.

Did me Discord question get cluttered up with the rest of my gibberish?

Woooooowww! That just goes to show how much bigger you'll likely grow then me suh! My text walls limit who can read and how long they can read, but, your art? Accessible to all and the Thunder! Congratulations on your own recognition plaque suh! Me with Mrs. Rebecca and you with Mr. Bigham! Can't wait to see those views and votes RISE!
