RoboDoge
Hello to you all my in game satisfied and unsatisfied friends, and enemies also (cannot forget them). So, there are so much threads about game still being to easy, or is to hard after U9. At first i though that level scaling is crappy, but after i played them i found that difficulty wasnt changed much (at least for me). Playing Xini with my clans mates doesnt seem any different than before U9. Maybe its harder for casuals and PUGs? Even Raptor boss isnt that hard when you learn his tactics (sneaky tactics with all that rockets, damn that flying coward he wont come down to fight normally ). I kinda want to suggest to DE to make some content, endgame if the could, for us that find this U9 difficulty scaling not difficult. An my idea was this: Make another planet with 100+ level mobs with different missions from what we have now. They can still be 4 man missions ( i know it is hard to make raid missions without dedicated servers ), but make rewards new content weapons or upgraded versions of existing ones. I am thinking about Vandal weapons droping there. And last but most important thing about this new planet: " It must be mastery related!" Planet that is tied to master rank ( would suggest mastery rank 7 ). Rank 7 isnt that hard to achieve ( is little harder for free to play players ), but again if you reached mastery rank 7 you know about game mechanics, and you already have few favorite frames that you know how to use. This would give some meaning to the grinding mastery ranks and all that gear and frames. Because now we have grind, grind and grind with no rewards after we collect everything that we wanted. So dear DE, it is your move. Give us something that we can enjoy, or face more "Game is to easy/hard!" threads ;) Sorry for the long post ;)
hydrater
I think DE called that "planet" void T3
Hayden11121
100+ mobs are not that difficult. And dropping vandal weapons ruins the purpose of having the exclusive vandal weapons... They need to add a real challenge, not just a scaled up one. I want smart enemies, not dumb masses with pea shooters.
Khaos_Zand3r
Yeah...this sounds EXACTLY like what they hoped to accomplish with the void... -.-

Shion963
Hoped.....but not quite there. So they should drop the effort entirely and create a new extremely-high-level zone?
RoboDoge
So they should drop the effort entirely and create a new extremely-high-level zone? Or they could make high level zone that is mastery rank related. So there is some use of getting higher ranks.
Lykalos
Honestly, I still want to push for a larger, raid scale mission, even if it requires dedicated server.* If it's a single planet, beyond say, Pluto, it's still extremely locked to newer players. Plus, they could try preventing the "Join friend, get unlock" system that they're currently using. *Or go beyond that by pushing for a programmer to make the load be distributed off of several players, each handling a different set of AI or calculations in real-time. However, network tests have shown that only people playing with their Nokia phones next to Comrade Dog or dropping connections are having issues. In the end though, it's still more of a balancing/design issue, given the strength of 4 frames alone. Edited July 22, 2013 by Lykalos
