GallyYum
Running 40+ orokin voids to get one or two pieces for a prime weapon is not fun. I love running Void maps and I don't mind working towards that reward, but the current reward setup only leads to frustration. I would like to suggest a method of letting players have some control over the RNG elements of these rewards without giving them complete control. When a player completes an Orokin Void map, they will be given the option to select one reward from a menu instead of the current random loot tables. Below are my suggested reward tables for each tier and type. Note: you only pick one reward option, apparently that wasn't clear enough... Tier 1 Raid/Exterminate Rewards - Random Reaper Prime part (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 2 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (high chance for uncommon, low for rare, no commons) Tier 2 Raid/Exterminate Rewards - Random Latron Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Reaper Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 3 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (medium chance for uncommon or rare cards, no commons) Tier 3 Exterminate Rewards - Random Frost Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Latron Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Reaper Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 4 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (low chance for uncommon, high chance for rare, no commons) Tier 1 Capture/Mobile Defense Rewards - Random Fang Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 2 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (high chance for uncommon, low for rare, no commons) Tier 2 Capture/Mobile Defense Rewards - Random Bronco Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Fang Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 3 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (medium chance for uncommon or rare cards, no commons) Tier 3 Capture/Mobile Defense Rewards - Random Paris Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Bronco Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Fang Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 4 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (low chance for uncommon, high chance for rare, no commons) Tier 1 Defense Rewards - Random Bronco Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Fang Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 2 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (high chance for uncommon, low for rare, no commons) Tier 2 Defense Rewards - Random Braton Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Paris Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Forma blueprint (no longer give already made forma, also has a 24 hour cooldown period) - 3 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (medium chance for uncommon or rare cards, no commons) Tier 3 Defense Rewards (has the most options because it's the hardest to do and takes the longest) - Random Bronco Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Fang Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Braton Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Paris Prime Part/Blueprint (even chance for each part) - Random Orthos Prime Part/Blueprint (½ chance for blade, ¼ chance for blueprint, ¼ chance for handle) - Forma (24 hour cooldown separate from Forma Blueprint cooldown) - 5 units of a single random rare resource (Morphics, Orokin Cell, Neural Sensors, Control Modules, Neurodes) - Random mod card (100% chance to be rare) Let me answer some potential questions regarding this idea. Why do higher ranks have more options? Each weapon/warframe is regulated to an appropriate tier, but higher ranks have the lower tier options. This is so that players who only run high level defense mission won't have to deliberately seek out Tier 1 keys that are below their skill level just to farm a specific type of equipment drop. Why have resources drop? Currently it is very tiresome to grind the same planet boss over and over again just for a rare resource. Since Void missions offer no alternative reward to weapon parts currently besides low chances at forma, this is another incentive for players to run void missions even after they have all the pieces and forma they need. Also let's folks pay for blueprints that require stuff like 10 orokin cells a bit easier. Won't this make people less likely to run planet missions? There might be a drought for planet teams for a short while after the change, but players can only do void missions for as long as they have keys to do them. Lowering the chances of getting a key from planet defenses would be a way to adjust for this if it turns out to be a problem (Tier 2 keys probably drop too much already). For those that want warframe parts or 1 quick resource (or stalker), boss planets will still be done quite a bit. Would forma cooldowns shared with all tiers and types? Yes, otherwise the cooldown would be pointless with so many types and tiers on separate cooldowns. Any more question or suggestions? Hipolipolopigus
You need to look at it from DE's perspective. You get the weapons... And then what? You're at the current end-game, your interest in the game will deplete until the next significant update. DE are just spacing out the content which, while frustrating, is understandable. GallyYum
Yet that is more of the fault of the current voids offering no other rewards then a very slim chance at a forma and duplicate pieces they can't use or trade only sell for credits. I have zero motivation to run any of my Raid/exterminate keys because there is no point in running them if you already have the pieces, at least I'm suggesting some alternative rewards to keep players using the keys they get. Fenwyn
I really hope DeRebecca takes a look at this, as well as some of the other develops. Very well thought out, the suggestion to have reward selections at the end of misisons has been around for a while, but never this comprehensive. You've done all the work for them, we've given DE a crap ton of money, let's see them put it to work.

DE has more than enough revenue at this point to hire on more staff and start pumping out genuine content. They have 3 million players and over 25,000 founders on the design council. At $100 each they have over 2 MILLION $USD, not even counting lower founder's programs and ongoing platinum sales, or the Grand Masters. A realistic estimate is that they have made over 5 MILLION $USD in a short 7 months, even as much as 10 million. Hopefully we'll see some new developers come on staff and pay attention to phenomenal posts like these, where all the concept work is basically done for them. tcww
The more 'options' there are, the harder it is for someone to try and get all the parts for one weapon. From what you've listed, an 'even' chance for each part might be like 3%. Do you understand how low that is? Have you calculated how many runs on average one would need to complete a set of parts and bp? Not only that, but you want to add resource and mod drops as well, further diluting the drops... When getting a tier 3 key itself is already a bit of a lottery draw (~3%), no one will be bothered to try and farm for prime parts because it'll probably be more rewarding to try win the lottery WITHOUT buying a ticket. What the game needs is concentrated drop tables, not diluted ones...
Maddoc
They are also rapidly working themselves into a design corner as is. So okay, they introduce keys with two mission types, Exterminate and Raid. These two have their own loot table for three Prime items. Next, they introduce three more mission type keys, Defense, Mobile Defense, and Capture. These have, again, their own loot table for six Prime items. (I think it's six, I'm working from memory here) So now, we're only left with Sabotage, Spy, Deception, and Rescue left. Will the next set of keys be two to four of those last mission types, with their own new loot table for more Prime items? What about when they have run out of mission types to assign Void keys to, and they want to add more Prime items into the game. Even at this early stage, just combining the two loot tables would be absolutely disastrous, and with time adding more items to the same loot tables would "crowd out" the drops so badly that actually seeing what you want would take ages, it would be even more supremely frustrating than it already is. We're already seeing this effect with six prime items and all of their parts. I feel like DE really needs to look at some sort of token concept if they want to continue developing Voids and Prime items going forward. Do something like normalize the parts required for weapons. Long guns could have barrel, receiver, and stock. Sidearms receiver and barrel, and Melee "handle" and "blade" or some approximation. Then, simply drop "Long Gun Receiver Token" or something similar. I'm sort of just typing all of this as it comes to mind so I'm sure there are some holes, like the Paris' weird construction, but that is a pretty minor issue that could be solved by some degree of normalization. Maybe normalize it to three parts as the body, grip, and string, or something similar I dunno.

It wouldn't randomly drop mods on you unless you pick for it to drop mods on you. It won't drop Braton Prime parts unless you pick the option for a random Braton Prime part.
