Jupiter junction bug

I cannot seem to get to jupiter

I have completed all objectives and i can enter the junction and remove the shield and kill the specter however once the specter is dead I cannot activate the solar rail to take me to Jupiter

I could have sworn I killed a valkyr specter to get to ceres and I'm not sure if maybe the repeated specter is why I cant open the rail

I have tried killing the specter several times by killing checking the switch and then leaving since I can't activate it

I don't know if its relevant but the specter seems to have a rapid fire gun with ungodly strength that can kill my octavia with 3 shots at full health

I am having this same problem. Go into the junction, challenge the specter, defeat the Valkyr, then nothing. I've tried rebooting multiple times. No luck. HALP!

I actually fixed this a while ago on my own... i dont know why but if you beat the specter and try to go to the seat even if it fails it might be finished anyway because i later checked jupiter and i had the first mission unlocked
