Radial Disarm Is... Killing Stuff?!

So I got back on my first frame, Loki.

 

I leveled RD to the max, then I added stretch to increase the range. Now I notice that whenever I use radial disarm in a huge crowd, about half of the enemies inside the radius VANISH/DIE. The rest lose their ability to shoot, as the ability says it's supposed to be doing. 

I once achieved 384 kills in one match, where I had 170+ Melee kills, and the rest came from elsewhere (Maybe one or two kills from my handguns, but otherwise I was strictly using melee in order to level it up). The remaining amount of kills came from me spamming radial disarm. I see Affinity numbers pop-up everywhere on the screen whenever I use it in a crowd, just like it would with a normal ultimate.

What gives?

I guess some of the guns are ripped out people's hands with such force it pulls their hands off and they die almost instantly from blood loss...?

Probably a bug.

So the next time you spam radial disarm, I want you to think about that half-witted deformed space marine you made commit suicide.

Haha, Radial Disarm has gotten a buff! It's not bug! My friend plays Loki, and we just randomly noticed it after U9. I'm not sure what level his Radial Disarm is, I think it's maxed, but it does 500 damage for him, which makes Loki an even more viable option for defense missions.
