When I watched the last Devstream I saw quests both on NPC and the dynamic ones happening in real time while on the field...

I wondered: How often or how easy it is to repeat those quests / events? Can we expect a possible non-stop action for an hour or two if we decide to remain in there that long?

What (if any) terrestrial animals live on the plains?

Will the birds be domesticated?

In the pet shop, there are several rodents in cages, can they be purchased to roam around our ship? What's a ship without rats.

Will Darvo sneak into Cetus and become a black market dealer?

Steve claims there are new lore pieces scattered around the plains, will we see a ship decoration related to it as we did the kuria?

  • How will matchmaking for POE work?
    • Will we be able to public match-make into the plains from our orbiters?
    • Will we have to traverse through Cetus every time we want to play in the plains?  For example, if we public match-make from our orbiter, does everyone in the squad have to make their way through Cetus to the gate or will we be placed directly into the plains?  Said differently, will there be one node for Cetus and a separate node for the plains on the star map?
    • I understand the saving of progress will be iterative on the plains upon completion of various quests/missions.  How will this work for squads should one or more members of the squad want to leave sooner than another.  For example, If I play with 3 pubs and we finish a mission and the 3 pubs are content to leave will I too have to leave or will I be free to stay?  If I stay, could other players potentially join me "in progress" or will it work much like the current squad system(s) wherein If I elect to stay I will being doing so solo until I leave the map.
    • Will we be able to invite friends to join our squad even if we've been out on the plains for an extended period of time having completed a handful of the random encounter missions?
  • What is happening to Focus?
    • Will the method of acquiring focus change?  I understand the availability of focus lenses is being looked into; separate from the availability of the lenses will we continue to apply lenses to leveled warframes and weapons to acquire focus? Will this be extended to the defensive and offensive gear that will adorn our "battle operators?"  Will we be able to apply lenses directly to our operators?
    • From what I gather, the focus abilities will largely be used to enhance the "battle operators" separate from the "ghost operators" and passives that our warframes enjoy now.  Will some portion of the focus benefits remain to apply to our warframes and "ghost operators" in addition to the "battle operators?"
    • I understand we will have an opportunity to respec our current focus gains with the new system.  As others have undoubtedly asked, will we receive one pool that we may allocate across the 5 schools of focus or will we be constrained to respec within the schools for which our current gains apply?
    • Will the current focus cap be removed, reduced, or increased with PoE?
    • Can we expect any modifications to the rate by which we gain Focus?
    • Will there be any means for us to make use of excess focus?  With the current system, many players have acquired enough focus in one or more schools to fully upgrade their respective trees.  Presently, excess focus accumulates w/out any means to make use of it.

Question 1: Are Kubrows and Kavats going to take off into a grineer camp before we spot them?

Question 2: Due to the fact that the Daikyu is a long bow will it have the same drop off range as a sniper rifle?

Question 3 : Will there be more Kavat and Kubrow species to collect?

Only question that concerns me especially with the Focus rework being tied mainly to operators. How "Forced" will Operators be? Will they be like that of Kuva farming or will using Operators be a choice?

ie: Can I fight an Eidolon without using my operator or will I be forced to HAVE to use Operator to take it down?

As much as I am interested in the Warrior Operator, I don't want to be taken out of the fluidity of Warframe combat like with Kuva farming and killing guardians.

In terms of new Operator Gear, the theme seems to be space samurai with materials based upon the new PoE people and their resources. But since my operator (and my current theme) are dressed for my love of all things Orokin, will we see other cosmetics and "armor" pieces fitting to that theme or any other theme?

How is affinity going to work with the new operator system. Currently you can't earn affinity towards any of your gear by using your operator mode, but with using the operator becoming more and more important will this change?

It is 100% your fault that you got yourself hyped up on this one. September was always explicitly a target, and any 'secret confirmations' you thought you read into their communications was just wishful thinking.

And here comes the "you can't take bad about DE" guys.

Hello Tenno!

Depending on what timezone you are in this post may be early in the morning or later in the evening - happy Monday!

This post will cover what you should expect for this week - the hype for Plains of Eidolon is considerable so we felt giving you facts to start your week with would help you calibrate your hype and plans.

1) Plains of Eidolon is not launching this week.
From the moment TennoCon ended - the question has been 'when'. We've said 2017, Fall 2017, and sometimes even September. We had originally planned to ship this week but we're giving ourselves more time to finish things. The question of 'when' does remain, and we'll prepare you with information on that early next week!

2) There will be no Devstream this Friday.
We've shown quite a lot since TennoCon to give everyone a sense of what types of content will be included with the Plains of Eidolon. We are going to return to the Devstream couch soon - but we want to use every hour of every day this week to work on final touches. Our last Devstream (and subsequent AMA on reddit) had incredible reactions and questions and we're still working through those!
Our latest blog has some follow up - but expect more Dev Workshops too https://www.warframe.com/news/the-remote-observer-vol-14

3) What do you want to know more about ahead of the Plains of Eidolon?
Now a question for you! Since we are planning on a few Dev Workshops this week, we'd like to make positively sure the most common areas of interest are detailed. Whether it's a change (Focus) or something completely new (Cetus), feel free to ask below.

Onward, Tenno!

I have a technical question: @[DE]Steve Will we be able to make the Resolution Scaling go past 100% so it can act as Super Sampling Anti Aliasing?

Aside from Focus (which I definitely would like more info on) I'm also interested in what's being done to make PoE highly replayable.

Randomized enemy spawns (locations + units)?
Randomized mission locations?
Dynamic events?
Choice of engagement (stealth)?
Enemy strongholds?

Exactly what I want to know.

The last devstream said you could not hurt the Eidolons without the Warrior mode. Don't know if that is currently set in stone but it seemed to be the case.

Thank you for all you are doing.

Here is my question:

How all the things we do in POE will be saved? If we get a gem or a fish, or something else do we need to go back in town to save those in our inventory or it saves automatically?

Take your time and make this update awesome like all updates in the past or better :D

Ahead of the Focus rework, where there will be 'Warrior Operators', I'd like to know whether there will be changes to the movements of manifested Operators. Will they be more agile and mobile than they are now?

Are there plans to include any kind of system by which players can affect or make choices about Operator dialogue, other than whether it is turned on or off? Are there plans for any kind of dialogue choice or control interface, whether that would be in missions, or preset from the Tenno customisation screen?

Can you do Dev workshops on:

Cetus "jobs," Syndicate/sortie-like reputation/reward system

Whether or how "outside" features like alerts, fissures, Syndicates, synthesis, Battalysts etc., will show up in Plains of Eidolon.

PoE Grineer combat - what sorts of missions other than what we saw?

How Archwing will work.

And a random question:

Will any new or old bosses show up in Plains?
