Phoenix86
I just saw on wiki that Zoren has 25% / 5 % crit chance... Wasnt 25% on both normal and charged attacks?? They stealth nerfed crit chance on charged? It has always been that low? Wiki was stating wrong numbers? Need explanations, thx

PopTartZombie
Don't listen to those fools. I thrived off crits from Dual Zorens until update 8. Then for some reason i stopped using them. They most likely changed the numbers on them. They're SUPPOSED to be the best crit weapons in the game (for melee that is)

Xuande
For melee normal attacks, Dual Zoren and Dual Cleaver are tied for the highest base crit chance at 25%. They also offer the highest critical multiplier at 300%. The Dual Zoren has lower damage but faster attack rate than the Dual Cleaver; in this regard, the Zorens proc crits more often than the Cleavers, but the Cleavers make better use of the crit damage multiplier with their higher base attack. Charge attack crit rates are almost always different from the normal melee crit rates. If you want a weapon with the highest crit rate for a charge attack, you look to no other than the Plasma Sword and the yet-to-be-revealed Fin Sword, both with charge crit rates of 15%. Both also offer the highest critical multiplier for charge damage, at 200%.
Phoenix86
t4i, anyway i'll just change mods on my zorens than, i love too much to zorencopter around to un-equip them ;)
IfritKajiTora
I was playing zorens yes they are weak, So I planed to potatoe them and give maximum power for normal attacks because they have 25% critical chance. so let start to count damage.adding: normal bonus damage, fire, ice, critical hit chance, critical damage, armor ignore and attack speed. It was like holy S#&$ they are making 55.5 damage per hit and critical was around 266 damage and critical chance was 32.5% so 266/3=88.8 damage holy S#&$. Maked it play some hours and forgotten about the Fangs. calculated the damage with these same mods -_- ZORENS are sh*t, they make more damage per second without critical chance so I added Charge damage and Charge speed.FANGS are better than Zorens no doubt, only Fangs have dissadvantage of no staggering on normal hits. ZORENS should make 20 damage and charge damage 70.even that 20 damage dual zorens will make less damage that Fangs -_-. Maybe on charge attack Zorens should be thrown. Faster than Glaive but less damage only 55. Edited July 24, 2013 by IfritKajiTora
Phoenix86
you forget that zorens are multi target, fangs are not
psyanide
I lurv the throwing axes idea! They look light enough to allow you to heft them into someone's face or back as they turn to run (those damned Corpus cowards!). Maybe have them teleport back into their holsters after hitting a mob, with a delay on them re-appearing if you fail to hit an enemy? They could phase back into the holsters, or, though it would no doubt be overly complex to animate- the holsters could reconstruct new ones every time you threw a set? We already have examples of throwable weapons both in the sidearm and meele categories (kunai/despair and glaive/kestrel)
Saenol
Zorens and Cleavers are fine as is, just stop trying to use charge attacks with them.
