Twitch Drops Prep

The Plains of Eidolon is on the horizon, which means the Great Eidolon event on Twitch is inching ever nearer. If you love Twitch streams, or simply love getting loot, this is not an event you want to miss out on! Full details about this campaign, including an FAQ, can be found here.

So, what happens to players who join after all of those listed have the achievement? Are they SOL? Or will there be more in the future?

Also, do the streamers have to use the Warframe account linked with Twitch? Because a few of the ones listed have alternate accounts, especially Free-to-play accounts. Will these also trigger the Sigil?

For those interested, I will be streaming Plains of Eidolon content on the next Friday after the update is released.

- If the update lands on a Thursday, I will stream PoE on the next day.
- If the update lands on a Friday, I will stream PoE the next week.
- If the update lands on any other day, I will stream PoE on the next upcoming Friday.

My stream schedule is mostly 2000 to 2400 PST. From what I understand, as long as you have the Twitch stream up, you'll still get the drops while I'm live.

I can understand why its a good way to show case the game, but I'd rather be playing than watching others play especially with something new like PoE.

Once every Partner has unlocked the achievement, the Sigil won't be available for the remainder of the Great Eidolon event.

No, only one account (of their choosing) will be able to trigger it.

I remember seeing how 2017 was going to be "Year of the Clan" or something to that effect, though that fell off rather quickly. With how 2017 is ending, is 2018 going to be "Year of Twitch"? The existing "Free Prime with Prime" hasn't even ended and yet there's two new Twitch promotion announcements. These constant promotions with Twitch don't appear to bode well for things to come.

Is there any kind of balancing factor on the reward-per-achievement?

Say for instance, I were to open up the streams of 50 different Partners in different tabs, and there's 20 Achievements, that would be 1000 chances at potentially Vaulted Prime gear and Market items.

That seems a little too good.

I've not wanted to ask this for a while since I felt kinda bad about it but I figured I might aswell.

Is it alright to just have a stream on and leave it idle? Both morally and in terms of getting these items.

I feel when Plains of Eidolon releases it'll be around midnight at my location and if all of the notable streamers immedietly go for the survive the night achievement by the morning I'll have probabily missed my chance at it.

As my computer isnt strong enough for livestreams+ smooth gameplay, i guess i wont play PoE myself and just let a bunch of streams run...
