New Foundry Doesn't Scale With Screen Size, Tons Of Unused Space Leads To Needless Scrolling

Why oh why is there so god damn much unused space in the new UI? I wouldn't have to scroll through all my crap so much if the UI actually made use of my screen size. The current window only shows 12 items, when it could show a good 30 or more.

If I'm not mistaken, the foundry rework is already slated for another rework. I believe Steve said something about use a more list-like display.
