TemetNosce
I just ended a mission where for the second time, my team suddenly switched at the last moment from continuing the map to all quitting, leaving me soloing Xini. I'm honestly sick of it, and would like to suggest that a confirmation screen be implemented if someone winds up in the situation where they'd be going from team to solo play to ensure they actually intended to do so. PsychedelicSnake
Same, I'm sick of it as well. This happened to me a total of 5 times on the Artifact Defense event with all the Infested. Not only that, it is especially tiresome when you have all these mods you picked up, you are on the final stretch to Wave 30 on Xini, and EVERYONE exits out. At that point you know you lost everything.
LostWhisper
Or even better, add 5secs to the timer every time someone changes their mind (but don't let the added time ever force the counter past say 15s). And then to stop abuse (people constantly changing sides so you can never exit or continue) make it so that you can swap maybe 5(?) times then you get a warning saying you can only swap once more. If you then swap a sixth time, wherever your choice is is then where it stays. Yes/no/thoughts/improvements? Dr.KennethNoiswater
But the only thing you lose is that end mission reward mod/key/bp. As far as I know, unless it's been changed again, everything you earn is saved every 5 waves. So if you fail at say wave 27 you roll back to everything you had at the end of wave 25. Losing all the XP is bloody annoying though, sure you get to keep all the mods and stuff but losing out on a potential 1 - 3 levels because some $&*^ decided to leave at the last second is seriously irritating. @OP I know exactly how you feel, it happened to me 3 times in a row. TemetNosce
Honestly, while a more nuanced system wouldn't hurt, I just want something to fix the issue because it drives me nuts. Ultimately however I think whatever they do implement ought to stay, if not necessarily basic, at least relatively simple.
litlit
Something like this would be enough: "Hey, [X number] of players have chosen to claim and exit. Since you [have chosen battle / have chosen neither claim nor battle], you will continue to [the next wave] without those players. Are you sure you want to stay?" Onihikage
I thought the solution was obvious - just let the mission fail. You'll keep everything you had up to that point. You only lose items if you manually quit the mission.
