Advise Please!

I have made Frost Prime and Nova I am uncertain which one to Potato since i have one potato and I don't buy platinum since i don't have the money to i used my starter platinum on 1 war frame spot and 4 weapon slots. I have 1 Orokin Reactor and 1 Orokin Catalyst (both from alerts). I am thinking of making a Paris Prime a Braton Prime and a Gorgon (i already have a  Boltor) which one should i potato? I am going to delete my Excalibur and make either a Saryn, or Nyx -- Which one shuld i make ? and Which one should i potato Frost Prime or A Nova

Choose whichever best suits your playstyle, and which you have invested more in. But I personally would do it on Frost Prime, but only because I don't have a Nova to really know.

With the new uber hard everything, potato Frost Prime.

Paris is likely to be close to useless now too, likely to need 3 headshots for anything higher then lvl 30 mobs. Gorgon is good tho.

Frost über sucks. Gorgon is also bad without good mods. Potato nova and Boltor. And get Saryn next.

I'd Frost Prime. Better all-around than Nova imo, plus you can be the saving grace on any defense mission.

 

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother with Gorgon unless its just for Mastery points.

Frost prime is basically the same as frost but he just looks a lot better. In my opinion I would not go for nova because I am 99% certain that she has a nerf coming.

I would tend to agree with this. But I will say I have been playing nova and she can dish out damage if you would rather be a bit squishy with lots of damage than a tank

The answer to all of your questions revolve around your playstyle, i shall try to summarise the options you have given us to help a bit.

 

Frost - Good for corpus/Grineer defence. Essential for T3 Void defence. Avalanche and Ice Wave do fair damage against mid level corpus, Freeze has very situational usage. The real reason you would use Frost is for SnowGlobe however, a potatoe is not necessary.

 

Nova - A pure damage frame, if you can avoid getting hit, highly effective. Null Star is good for an alarm against sneaking enemies (Ancients) or doing fair damage at mid level enemies. Wormhole is a very effective mobility skill once you get acquainted with it. Antimatter drop is only really useful if you have good weapons and are fighting high level enemies as it quadruples your damage output. Molecular Prime is your classic, press 4 to kill everything button, at lower levels, at higher level enemies becomes extremely useful for the 100% damage buff and 0.5 movement speed.

 

Saryn - Another pure damage frame, arguably molt has it's utility but it dies so fast with the enemy damage buff that it isn't worth it 9 times out of 10. Venom is hard to use and usually it is faster just to shoot the enemies. Contagion is great if you like melee, upto 105% damage buff for melee with a focus mod. Miasma just murders stuff around you.

 

Nyx - Pure utility frame, the real reason you would get this frame is for chaos. Chaos is pretty godlike in terms of utility, everything just attacks eachother. Absorb is good if it works, but enemies hide behind cover and it usually just makes you sit still, good for 10 seconds of invincibility and drawing aggro however. Psychic bolts are just a bit meh, don't bother. Mind Control is small scale chaos, great for singling out heavies to take a beating from the rest of the mobs.

 

So for you new frame, Saryn for making stuff die and being able to take a hit, Nyx for making stuff kill eachother and not getting hit at all.

 

If you like standing still, taking a beating and shooting with your weapons, go potatoe frost, if you like running about trying not to get hit whilst dealing big damage with your powers, go potatoe nova. Personally, I would potatoe Nova as she is more versatile in my opinion.

 

I do not have a Paris Prime, but I have the Paris and the other two mentioned guns.

 

Personally I prefer the Braton Prime over the Gorgon, it doesn't have the wind up, it has great DPS and looks cooler, but this is up to you, minigun or assault rifle really, with the right mods both will be highly effective. 

 

I hear the Paris Prime is a direct upgrade to the Paris, but still not as effective as a Snipertron, or Snipertron Vandal, or Lanka if you have or intend to get any of those sniper rifles.

 

If you want to be a bit of a sniper, go the Paris Prime route. However the Braton Prime or the Gorgon would be the better choice for higher level enemies and all out ability to kill stuff quickly.
