DrRandom7
These missions typically consist of being a defense mission in which you protect the pod/artifact for a given amount of waves. What if we tweaked it to truly reflect it's name, in that there's no pod, no artifact, just triple enemy spawn and the main aim is yourself, to survive a timer. Thoughts? Arkhangel07
I actually quite like that idea, Sometimes just trying to survive is the best way to play.

Hayden11121
A survival. Maybe in an boss set up type room with limited cover and ammo drops. Maybe enemies can scale up VERY quickly. Because a level 90 vs a level 91 isn't that much of a difference.
Calgacus
Yeah I think that would be good fun. Here's another idea: 2 squad maps. 1 squad has to hold out against endless increasing waves with a minimum amount of respawns while another group of 4 (the reinforcements) have to fight through checkpoints to meet up with the 1st group and then there's a monster large wave chasing them to extraction, or perhaps a boss. Prob far too much work to implement but it would be cool :) Edited July 25, 2013 by Calgacus
Definitegj
We are ninja. If there is nothing to defend, we just hide away.
Hayden11121
We are ninja. If there is nothing to defend, we just hide away. Yes, because Rhino is a ninja. Stomping the ground in a big shockwave is really ninjalike. Making the entire room set on fire, that's really stealthy. Ninja is the wrong way to word a Warframe. Spargus
yeah, tell me how you hide away so good in this game. We're not ninjas, we're tanks -__- So +1 for the survival ! =D
Fate_6
I would love it if the enemies never stopped spawning too. Survival is great, just kite around picking up mods/resources/orbs/ammo

So dodging and weaving is actually possible.

PettiTheYeti
One problem with your idea: Cloak/Invisibility/Smoke Bomb In one of the early mastery tests, it's this same idea. Survive endless enemies until the clock runs out. I was using Shade and the instant an enemy got close, I got cloaked. Literally just stood there for a minute and a half, not doing anything, and passed the test. Same thing would possibly happen in real missions if this were adopted. Hollowatcher
Anything close to an ME3MP gametype, roaming wave survival with random objectives. Yes. Nao.

Of course something could be adapted to counter this. As in if there are no allies left alive that are visible, then stealth no longer works. Therefore Loki and Shade users can still be invisible, but put more pressure on others.
Yinkuji
Would be no harder than the normal defense missions. Get a Vauban and/or Frost on your team and faceroll. Edited July 25, 2013 by Yinkuji

Also you can just choose a spawn spot and camp there (enemies now won't spawn there because you are too close), wait for enemies from other spawn spot, now press your AOE no4 ultimate, collect energy orbs. Rinse and repeat. Game clients will also tend to crash if you spawn too many enemies. Edited July 25, 2013 by Definitegj
Warptron
i like the idea, but it seem that there is a bunch of lowend computer users or dialup. but triples spawn whould be amazing.

Zurakci
Survival would be a good gamemode. I rather have that than defence missions or mobile defence.. I rather kill than defende. I thumb this up.
W4RM4CHIN3
DERebecca if you are reading this can you tell devs to add a survival mode? I gotten sick and tired of defense. This game is known for defense missions, what about Sabotage, Capture, Etc...no one plays those, so our only choice is Defense. That get's boring what we need is more game modes. I have begged so much for this mode just tell the devs to add it, it's about damn time >:o
