Catalyst For Torid Or Flux?

I didn't build those guns yet but I only have 1 catalyst. I always supercharge clan tech but now I only have 2 catalyst and I already reserved one for my Acrid. So a quick question, should I supercharge Torid or Flux.

I have the Ogris and I suicide alot so I'm searching for a clan tech weapon that has a low risk of suicide.

If there are better clan tech weapons to supercharge, please say the weapon. I already supercharged:

Ogris and Supra.

Flux for me. Also ifnot just wait for another. It's always best to have an extra one on you.

You should super-charge the Flux, as the Torid (if I'm correct) can hurt still you if you are in its gas clouds. Otherwise, I would say the Lanka because it's currently the best sniper rifle in the game.

Depends on the game-mode you play. Acrid will almost certainly out-dps Flux. If you're playing defense/Mdefense. Torid is very powerful due to the volume of enemies you can affect. If you play regular missions/bossfights, Flux would be more deserving of the potato, since it has higher dps than Torid vs single-targets, can't hurt you, and is more practical vs single enemies

Both diserve Catalyst, but  if you have already Ogris Potatoed, go for Flux. Torid is a bit similar to Ogris on gameplay, just one have direct shot with explosion, the other have duration shot with toxic smoke! Flux have hos own style better than all continuous weapons until now..

Torid if you main vauban..

Acrid will out dps Flux rifle, and has range.

 

Flux is not needed unless your leveling other secondary's for mastery.

Torid can kill you, Torid really requires Vauban to be effective, and only really sees good use on endless defense.

 

Give your Potato to Dethcubes gun!

 

You don't "need" either weapon....  I personally like flux, its fun for running infested and looks cool

torid is absolute the best weapon loki on xini.

but if you have no loki i would charge flux.

 

FLUX is very strong right now and replace all rifles without aoe in its range

If you are going to make both anyway I would go for the flux first. The Torid is unbeatable in some situations but in others it will get you killed. Though compared to the Ogris it is less likely to get you insta-killed.

 

I would like to mention that in the end I find the Torid more fun. There is a lot more variety in what you can do with it, especially in the higher level content. Like tagging an enemy diving for cover so he kills everyone else hiding there. Or tagging a corpus tech in the head to kill off the ospreys in the area. But for every time a group of grineer die to your well made trap you will end up hitting your own sentinel and watch as it slowly kills you.
