More Wf Abilities Need Damage Scaling Like Nova's

I kind of doubted DE's ability to crack team a good kit in such a short time being a design council warframe, which is sort of ironic because I voted for it, but after playing Nova I've started using skills for something other than utility. Coming from a Saryn/Banshee/Mag/Ember player, Nova is literally the first frame where I've pushed a number button for reasons beyond "oh S#&$ panic button for cc" (unless it was Ember in which case I just died, or Saryn in which case I'm just farming infested with 2). It's fun to use a skill and know that it'll provide actual usable damage, and it's more interactive than a stun/decoy, at least the way those types of skills are set up now.

IMO more warframes need the kind of damage scaling - ratio damage scaling - that you get from AM drop, Molecular Prime, Sonar, and Absorb, especially the warframes that don't have skills that offer any kind of utility at all (Ember). For instance, Excalibur's Slash Dash could scale off of a percentage of his melee weapon's damage, mods included, so that it can be used for something other than pretty much a dash. The cost of the skill and maybe the speed of the animation could even scale off of attack speed to balance it out between heavier/lighter weapons. Because as of right now it's almost exclusively more efficient to use your primary/secondary weapons for damage, especially the higher level you go. This leaves pretty much half of the skills in the game unused with the other half only being for cc, support, and mobility.

That's my feedback. I know you have a lot more stuff to concentrate on, like bugs and content, but I really think it'd help the health of the game to have this kind of skill overhaul planned for the future, as well as releasing new frames with the same trend as Nova.

/signed for making scaling more interactive and fun

Im not too sure either about that first sentence. But the rest of the post makes sense to me.

I agree with this, and I do hope DE doesnt completely accept the current state of all the Warframes abilities damage potential.

ts but damage is the only thing Nova have and that is her flaw. A huge flaw.

Paper-thin shields are Nova's Weakness. As enemies gain high health she will fall off unless allies pump Antimatter Drop. By then she is just M-Priming for the damgae-debuff. She folds like tissue paper though verus Corpustech and Heavy Grineer if she is shot.

Look for me high health enemies are those with three numbers in their level. And in this very situation i always have frost or vauban or both, not to mention that redirection is very optional mod simply because you can do very well without it. Unless you wanna tank incoming fire with a bare chest.

MP provides double damage buff for powers and weapons alike, this is good. But Basnhee provides 650% damage boost on weapons and that is superior.

Nova without AMD is a useless warframe. Because she have nothing to offer to a group. Not a decoy, not a crowd control. Because when i shoot from my Ogris in those level 180 ancients i actually like Sonar more than MP.

And MP actually is more a self buff for AMD rather than buff for a group. Because majority of warframes have self centred aoe when AMD can travel.

Mag and Saryn were really fun up till Ceres, after which their ults became increasingly pointless for damage and crowd clearing.  It sucks because Mag was my favorite frame for a long, long time.

Now when I play either of them, I can't even finish a game without quitting and restarting with Nova.
