Thunderbolt Mod... Lack Luster?

So been using it on my Paris; but after watching some vids on Crit based builds; it feels that Thunderbolt is actually really crappy as far as adding to dps on Paris/Dread/Paris Prime.This may just be my thoughts; but yeh sorry for making kind of a rant post. But more to the point is Thunderbolt useful at all, besides sorta adding an aoe effect 30% of the time?

Not at all. The AoE it adds isn't even affected by mods, so it's a flat 250 damage, which is a huge reduction to even a meagerly modded bow

Yeah thunderbolt is actually broken.

Especially when you consider the fact that the explosions actually replace your normal damage. That causes you to do less damage than normal (depending on how good your build is otherwise). Thunderbolt is a mod that adds a percent chance for your arrows to suffer a somewhat pretty failure, rather than any boost to damage or effectiveness.

when it first came out it was like a mini ogris rocket(suffered from same hitbox area reduction fails too), then came the QQ/whine/OP. now it's a mere shadow of its former glory. R.I.P thunderbolt

Yeh... pretty sure the 1430 crits on weakpoints that Paris can do with just max Serration, Vital Sense, and Point strike is much much more worthy of using. All TB has going for it is being an exclusive bow mod? XD
