SpoonyBrad
Bottomless pits don't, in and of themselves, bother me; I've been gaming since the days of Mario, so I'm kinda used to that mechanic. Similarly, I'm familiar with the idea of invisible walls at the edge of an area. But when I jump into a fairly shallow pit, clearly hear a landing, and then get snapped back to where I was a second ago? That's annoying. When I take off across an open plain, then encounter the same behavior (the Corpus ice planet tileset is particularly bad about this)? That's really annoying. When this toggles off warframe abilities which may have high activation costs (think Nezha's Warding Halo or Inaros's Scarab Armor)? That's downright infuriating. Maps like the Corpus ice planet tileset really need some kind of visible wall that you can't go past, rather than just triggering the bottomless pit mechanic if you run too far on a horizontal surface.
