Especially if you're unlucky enough to never get it from login reward, never have the free time (due to work) to do its alert, or never ever get its blueprint from spamming thousands of void run?

depends on if you really want to expand your dojo/build that dojo weapon/upgrade your frame or weapon.

personally i see it as a decent deal, but i also have the time and the luck to get tons of blueprints.

yes, it is one of the few items( including slots and potatoes) that's worth buying with platinum.

I miss a lot of Forma alerts, and I'm unlucky with the login rewards myself. I still say "no".

i have 5-6 potato and 0 forma i have use 52 T2 keys and i find 0 forma i need to make acrid+flux and i need 10 forma so the only way for me is to buy them.your opition here is buy it now or wait 1 month+ and maybe you find your forma you need

Bought a lot of forma when my alt account got the 50% discount. Everything went into constructing the Dojo.

 

I don't use my 'personal' amount of forma to Polarize, more towards making clantech weapons.

While I do not support pay for convenience there are case like this where luck could be so bad that it justifies just buying it.

 

Plus you are supporting the developers which is also a great thing.

I am thinking about maximizing a few warframes and weapons for the endless defense mission and boss assassination purposes. First set up is probably Vauban + Ogris + Acrid + Gram/Orthos/Hate/Reaper Prime for the Infested defense. Then it's Frost + Ogris/Boltor + Acrid/Despair + Gram/Orthos/Hate/Reaper Prime for the Grineer and Corpus defense. Finally for the assassination purposes, I am thinking of either Frost/Ash/Loki + Supra + Acrid/Despair + Gram/Orthos/Hate/Reaper Prime.

Forma is something thats....

 

 

You could forma a Warframe only to find you have 18 free energy 1 Random patch day. whent hey give you 4 formas energy out of the blue.

They could add an extra 20 energy to Weapons some random Tuesday, I would hold off and see what game changing patches they have in store.

 

You could forma Acrid and Ogris, since they are the best weapons in game.... but... that could/should change.

 

20 plat is pretty cheap tho.
