Sixty5
use [.media.]url[./media.] tags to embed a video. EDIT Good setup and stuff, though it feels like you are kinda screwing yourself over with the V polarity you have on speed trigger. you should also note that hammer shot is good on it. Also cryo over AP for the first elemental? Edited July 26, 2013 by Sixty5

Sherbniz
Wildfire would be a good substitute for Hellfire, since it's Fire Damage + Mag Cap Which makes me wonder why you haven't specced Mag Cap at all, since in your video you pretty much ran out of ammo instantly. I also have more build options due to update 9 and will be updating the Grakata build video in the future. (Also note my edit on the first post, how do you cope with the Grakata being an ammo hose? Stocking up on ammo boxes?) I was shooting around allot before I filmed in the void, was testing FPS drop with Fraps, but generally I only need 1 ammo box for a full mission! If running Defense, I bring about 5. Also cryo over AP for the first elemental? Cryo only when using Metal Auger, but generally yes, AP triumphs in most situations! Will be getting into AP builds with my Dread Video to come as far as my CC/CD - Thunderbolt build. Creating a build (glitched I believe) to Proc for 489 instead of 250..... Will be an interesting video :) No Weapon should be used without AP at this point in time, ( just an opinion) but I deemed "Cryo" important in my setup due to the ammo consumption of the weapon and staying on target/hitting multi.......ect...ect. RogueSpecter
Wow ! That 8 times forma'd Grakata is almost as good as an unforma'd Acrid. LOL, I guess, but I don't build for "Most Powerful weapon Ever!!" I love to use whatever catches my fancy! 8 Polarities......Not a big deal to me :) Besides, I had 113 Forma's at the time, plus many of my Frames/Guns/Swords have 10-8 polarized slots, not much else to do in game when there's no endgame yet........ Zareek
That is a great video dude. You explain things very well, and the video is overall comfortable to watch. Props for your Grakata too, it's an amazing weapon (didnt it get nerfed though)
Tulzscha
Great vid. I'd imagine this Grakata can do well in T3 void missions, though not for endless defense. Were polarizing 8 slots really needed though? With almost any primary weapon you can already fit in all the damage mods plus puncture with only 5-6 polarizations. Will probably get that out today, or tomorrow.

Fretless
This video is a good example of how not to polarize a weapon. If you're using a mod slot as a 'floater,' changing the mods in it depending on the mission, then you polarize the slot for the highest point-value mod that you intend to use, only if the value of the other mods in that slot are less than the normal value of the highest mod. Otherwise you leave that slot unpolarized. In your example, the most expensive mod in your floater slot is the rank 3 Metal Augur, with a value of 13. The others are rank 4 Stormbringer, with a value of 10, and Speed Trigger, with a value of 9. If you forma the slot with a dash polarity for Metal Augur, it will also benefit Stormbringer. The most expensive mod in that slot becomes Speed Trigger, with a value of 11. You'll save 5 points over your current setup, which is more than you're saving from some of the other slots. You also need to consider the total point requirements for your loadout. Even with the setup in your video, you only need 7 polarity slots to hold your most expensive loadout. If you fix the polarity in your floater slot, you'll just need 6. Your Grakata is an example of an over-formaed weapon with inefficient slotting. Look, if it were just a matter of customizing your weapon as you see fit, then I wouldn't care, do what you want. But you're making an instructional video for people who may be looking for advice. The example in your video is irresponsible advice at best. *edit: spelling, and forgot a sentence* Edited July 26, 2013 by Fretless

The example in your video is irresponsible advice at best. *edit: spelling* Thanks for the input, and to a degree you are correct, I made my Grakata in this way based off of my general purpose "MODS" and don't necessarily use Metal Auger as a primary, but on occasion (very rarely) use it for specific purposes. As for my videos being so called "Instructional," I see it more as getting a general ideal of what to use on a per-sect/factional basis. Granted, I also want to educate newcomers to WarFrame on how to properly polarize, but won't always put my "Set Polarities" due to the comfort zone of my own play-style. Best advice I can give is to take the general idea and make the build yourself with custom Polarities the way you want :) Everyone is entitled to their own comfort zone build, and as always, if there are flaws with my options, please feel free to point them out! I am also a player and wish to improve as do many others! Again thanks for the input. Edit: Another Reason I have all polarized, is due to the fact that I love this weapon and am collecting stars :) Also about using Stormbringer, I generally don't use it because I use volt mainly with this gun and tend to rely on Electric Shield for an additional Elemental boost and don't see it necessary! But will agree, you are right! In the future my other vids won't use fully polarized slots, (some are fully) but it's not necessary for the perfect build, still my first video in a series, will get it right and state these facts better in the future for other viewers. itsbigjon
Awesome vid, love the effort you put into it and I look forward to seeing more (should probably compile them all to this thread rather than making more threads) Regarding the "wrong" polarity for metal auger - i dont think it really matters, even polarising it for speed trigger you still have leftover slots for it. Also I completely agree with no gun being overpowered or underpowered, just depends on your set-up. Glad to see someone shares my sentiments. Thank you, will try to do as suggested, Fretless has a point and I will try to improve on that in the future for my latest "Grakata video" LOL. As far as making a "Primary" Thread for all of my upcoming videos, I am going to do that, and still make separate threads for each just so people can talk about that specific build without getting sidetracked on others or important comments getting lost in a sea of spam. Grulos
That much Forma is certainly wasted when you jig the Grakata. It is HORRIBLY ammo inefficient. If its your favourite weapons, okay, but you have to admit the ammo efficiency sucks...
