Dera And Acrid Builds

Hi, I recently (within the last two days) acquired the Dera and the Acrid and was wondering what a good build would be for these weapons. Here are my current builds.

 

I'm in the process of leveling it.

With Acrid's 6.7/second fire rate, you don't want to slap on more fire rate as a priority. Stick to damage first, and then, after you forma it 3-5 times, worry about fire rate. Secondly, max Barrel Diffusion as a priority, then go for 7/10 Hornet Strike. That's where most of the damage for your weapons come from; stuff that increases the Base damage the most.

But yeah, like LeucienWeaver said, go for damage mods and multishot mods

A freeze mod is also good for the Dera, as it will allow you to hit enemies more often (reduces the effect of the Dera's projectiles' flight time)

Always reserve mod space for a maxed serration in ANY build. Multishot should also be a priority in any build since it effectively improves your overall DPB by 90%

 

As for the Dera specifically, I have great fun with Eagle Eye when enemies like to be stupid and stand still (I'm looking at corpus and Grineer) since the Dera has 0 recoil or bullet spread, you can pinpoint X headshots on a target that Isn't moving. If you're fighting infested, I prefer your Fast Hands mod in place of the Eagle Eye. (Loadout: maxed Serration,Split Chamber, Wildfire, Eagle Eye/Fast Hands, Cryo, Hellfire, Piercing, and Stormbringer. This configuration requires 2 V polarity and 3 -- polarity.)
