Any kills made with an Amp after it's maxed should have all their XP sent to the focus school you have selected.

This would give us incentive to use operators aside from stripping armor/shields from Sentients and Shadow Stalker, as well as making the ridiculously bloated cost of maxing out focus nodes a lot more bearable. It also wouldn't be overpowered, as Operators have the defensive power of a wet tissue.

Would be nice, but you can apparently put lenses on amps once you get them Gilded. They probably mean for you to make a few for different purposes and put different lenses on them.

He's talking about having 100% of the affinity converted to focus, which I actually agree with.  We shouldn't have to focus farm using certain frames.

It would be interesting to have 100% of affinity earned as an Operator go to our Focus tree. It's not like it'd change the fact we can only get 250k focus a day, just make it so we spend more time doing other things besides XP farming.

Putting a focus lens on them doesn't give them an incentive to use the Operator over the Frames though since it's still percentage based. The Frames will still be the top choice for Focus Farming because they can kill infinitely faster.

His suggestion would at least give an additional reason to use Operators outside of the specific limited content created exclusively to involve them.

really back to even MORE lens *sigh*....USING THE OPERATOR should just be passive focus gain when kills from the beam/amp depending on the school we are currently have active.

My problem with operator being the source of 100% affinity-focus conversion rate.. you wouldn't really be able to focus farm till after War Within.. when focus is unlocked after Second Dream. Though with the changes.. you can't really use focus till after you pop out your op anyway.

yes, bit unlike those of us here, most players dont have to wait a year for TWW...they could theoretically do it right after if they wished.

Uh... Didn't operator form get changed to be available right after second dream? Since there is no floaty form any more?

Edit: Either way, you don't really need a mass amount of Focus XP until after War Within and Saya's Vigil, when the rest of the tree becomes unlocked by the Quills.

Floaty form still exists, it's just a transitory state to activate passives until you get the Operator proper.
