SethSamson
Bleeeeeee WHY I ASK WHY you rollback to this ILLEGIBLE sh!t ???!!!!!! i want back the last one which was clear
Gamblerselite
this one isnt bad it still lets you use the filter and allows you to sort your items
Camelslayer
It does allow use of the filters, however the grid was much more organized. Unless you were a gigantic blueprint hoarder, you could see all of your blueprints, their progress (if any), and so on. Overall it was much better, this is just a downgrade to what the Foundry used to be, except it has filters. There was really no reason to change it. If they want to keep this, then give us the best of both worlds- add a toggle between the Grid and Row views.
SethSamson
this ver of foundry UI is from Alpha and Close beta ... so i really don't understand why they rollback to it ... i was so happy with the last one
Wild_Hufflepuff
I like this latest one for when you HAVE items crafting, but I much prefered the last one in general. It enabled me to clearly see what items I had being built, what items I could build, and what blueprints were waiting for something before I could make them. I think something that is maybe a merge of the two perhaps. The last one normally, but then with a tab option of "crafting" that brings up the latest interface - but for only the items currently being crafted. Drasiel
I greatly prefer this one. It's much nicer to be able to see what you need to craft an item without having to click on it as well as not have your resources hidden behind another button. BlackVortex
I'm glad they made a cross version of the previous one and the much older one maybe thye could give people an option for those who don't like this version Though I'm happy with it good job from my perspective Edited July 27, 2013 by BlackVortex
Starbuck01
The new foundry is a beautiful marriage between the 8.0 and the 9.0 ui imo it looks great and is very functional in its design, one of my favorite of its features is the sorting options, however having the warframe tab have the warframe pieces in it would be a nice touch/change
CapricaSix
The new UI looks great! Well done. But it's too damn slow, popup windows are taking twice as longer which is really annoying for someone who'd want to play the game for more than 30 minutes. They should make it so that either we have less unnecessary popup windows or let us skip them without having to watch all those animations. Some of us care more about practicality over pretty visuals, I really hate waiting for all these and I hate it even more now that it takes longer! PS: Not only talking about the new Foundry but UI in general. Edited July 27, 2013 by CapricaSix

.Raiden.
I prefer the Foundry of Update 9 the grid view thing? I find this thing disturbing idk it hurts my eye, also why are the images of the market in low resolution? I mean they became like pixelated or is it just me? Hawner
I feel the same way as a lot of people here: the new Foundry UI just doesn't work. Everything looks cramped in a very small and dark space only to see the materials down each BP and with the pre-Update 9 style. I loved the previous one, you could see everything with 1 or 2 clicks at most, the colours felt very comfortable and the design was excelent... You could have lots of BP there and not feel that suffocating sensation. That's my opinion. I would like the previous UI back if possible.
Narroo
I loved the grid view. I dislike the list view, yet one of my friends was saying the opposite. He was of the mind that he wanted to know at a glance what items needed what materials, while I wanted to see at a glance all the blueprints I had. Can we have a option to toggle between list view and grid view? There are countless programs that have features like that, why not warframe? Hawner
^ this right here is probably the most user friendly solution. Grid for the people that prefer grids and List the for the ones that prefer lists. Seconded. The Foundry is not something users can take a peek but to their own, so the option to choose between one or the other is easy to make.
Dwaggie
I like the new UI. Not used to it yet of course, but someone always moans and cries about changes to things they were used to. Once used to this one, i can easily imagine it is plainly better. Also prettier. In a week's time this won't be an issue, like it shouldn't be. Mumra
I like this new one myself, what is funny is that about 2 days before it was changed to the new version, someone else had a post that pretty much showed exactly this new one. Everyone was cheering and saying how much better it looked and how they wished DE would make it like that. Then they did and now here we are again, people complaining about the new one. The filters are nice, they show you the activity of anything you may be building or have completed as well as that which you can start. Then the scrolling materials on the right hand side are easier to see now, although the font may need to be a bit bigger, sometimes it's hard to see exactly how many items you have. Aside from that it looks great and matches the overall look of other option windows.
taiiat
It does allow use of the filters, however the grid was much more organized. If they want to keep this, then give us the best of both worlds- add a toggle between the Grid and Row views. 1 - the original foundry changes ended up with me scrolling for a long time to find something on the tiny grid. the categories didn't shorten the scrolling hardly at all. 2 - if we can choose between, then everyone is happy, hehe. i liked the single list more than the grid personally. wider scroll area means the scroll bar moves slower. though we still have more screen real estate that could be used - components could have two columns, and the main list could still be longer, etc. mostly though, i'm glad the background is transparent. i was really irked that i couldn't atleast read chat in the foundry anymore. it's not even 'always on top' so i should atleast be able to read it. and now i can again :D

JHarlequin
The beneifts of this latest ui are having the resources listed on the main screen with the recipes, having the resources necessary for each recipe clearly shown and even marked if you have the required amount. A very visible timer about how much time is left on any particular build. Don't have to click on an item to see what is needed or how much time is left. Notice I didn't list filters. It's because while they can be used, only if someone buys every blueprint and keeps them all would they have a long enough list that they would need to filter, and then most of their lists would be short unless they click on the melee weapons, which would still be the longest list in the game. The previous UI was using the grid and allowed you to see most of your builds quickly. Though it was a bit better for the slightly more experienced player because those players could recognize quickly what each item was. New players probably would have had some trouble and might have had to click though everything. Filters aren't going to fix that situation for the new players. The large bars are good for newer players, the grid view was amazing for experienced players. The convenience of the new UI for new players is good, but it sort of makes the system cluttered. You have to scroll too far through the list even while filtered to get to what you actually want. The filters don't break it down well enough to be effective, and they are only made viable by this design. While the grid view showed a large number of blueprints and color coded them quickly to make it apparent what was available to build. I wonder if the system would work out okay if the blueprints were listed two per level instead of just one. It would show eight blueprints wherever you were in the list and would still have enough space to clearly see the name of each blueprint, resources necessary, and the build time while building. There might be issues for some people that might just click the closest build button to the name, but either placing the button close to the name of the specific blueprint, or making someone click on the blueprint to bring up a detailed view with the build button on that view would help with that issue.
