Glaive Prime

This would be the greatest weapon ever. Give it the flight speed of the Kestrel and the same range and damage as before with maybe  slightly higher crit chance. As the Glaive is right now no one even likes it, but Glaive Prime made this way would actually inspire people to use it so we can see more diversity among Warframe.

 

Glaive is an ancient weapon right? So it makes sense that we would see a Prime version of it some day. I'm betting it will be amazing.

I lean more toward the concept of releasing a dual glaive than a Prime variant. Stop and think about it for a moment if you would ;3

 

On one hand, they can release a Prime with better stats and you re-level the exact same weapon you love, not horrible, it's more viable I suppose - it's already viable though, and if it ever becomes 'not' they can just do a standard buff. It's still loved.

 

On the other hand, they can release a Dual Glaive with nifty change in stats : and the gameplay of them changes, perhaps the damage is slightly less, but the flighttime is much faster : and by the time your throwing the second, the first is almost back to you if it isn't already.

 

Or just jump on a whole new weapon of similar style, that is a completely new experience : like Chakra's that only throw a short distance before being magnetically drawn back to the wielder so they are a constant short-low'mid range flurry. 

 

Why a Prime that's a gold duplicate with a tid-bit more damage of what we've already done? 

- Just my opinion. ;3

I see, I pretty much like your idea plenty. Let's hope they do something that nifty with the Glaive and give a much needed buff to thrown melee weapons.

ALL melee weapons need a buff. Right now the Kestrel and Dual Zorens are the only useful ones - Kestrel for ranged ragdolling of bosses (I think it affects most bosses), and Zorens for flying.

I like my Glaive. It hits hard and sometimes kills several guys in one throw.

Probably wouldn't be opposed to a prime version, but the statement "no one even likes it" is untrue.

The Glaive is like my go to melee weapon. I love it a whole lot more then the other ones xD. I dont see why people hate the thing.

 

Glaive prime would be cool tho. just hope they dont make it look to flashy like all the other prime weapons... Gold trim is cool... but to much can mess it up. xP

I love the Glaive, I'd love to see a glaive prime. Maybe make it a 5 blade look like from the movie Krull.

Not sure if its still around, but take a Mag, and a Glaive, and then use bullet attractor. Watch as bosses die with ease. (Add friends with more Glaives too add to the fun.)
