Host Shields Not Recharging

Could perhaps be a nightmare mode thing, but it was only applied to me (the host), so i don't imagine it is.

 

grabbed a couple friends and dragged them through Io so they could have some corruptors to use during the event. Ended up being a nightmare mission, where our energy kept draining. Low gravity, too.

 

Anyway, around wave 4 i noticed that my shields were at 0. Pretty odd for a frost with 990 shields, on Io, considering i hardly ever get hit there. Stared at them for a second. Nothing happened. they stayed at zero. My team members all had functioning, recharging shields. Mine did not.

 

My sentinel tried to refill them, frequently. You could see the blue graphic that usually accompanies instant shield replenishment, but they stayed at 0.

 

In fact, they stayed at 0 the rest of the match.

 

I'll post screens if you want, but pictures of a frost with no shields isn't really compelling.

Yeah, I've been getting that too. Occasionally they'll start functioning properly if I die and revive (Which, combined with your "it's happening to the host only" assertion, really makes me feel like this is a bug), but not even that is a guaranteed fix. Will need to remember to send support a log file from a mission where it happens.

i found myself sometimes dying randomly.has anyone else been having this issue?

These issues need to be made aware of because I was going on Kiliken for a round 30 romp and ended up killing myself on purpose to get my shields. It did not work, I stayed at 0. Until these, and many other issues are resolved I will not be partaking in any gameplay whatsoever. This, and the energy drain in Nightmare have detered me from wanting to play at all. Until I notice a new update or Hotfix I am staying away from this game.

Just ran a mission on Hyperion, Saturn, multiplayer match, but I was the only one in it but me. I started with shields, however once they were dropped they never came back. I was also NEVER able to gain energy, as soon as I picked up an orb it drained to nothing, so I could not even use Iron Skin to somewhat avoid death. The gravity also appeared to be low, something I have not seen, since the last time I played was in closed beta. I died twice just trying to run a 24-27 mission, reviving only regenerated my shields on the last death, at which point it didn't matter, I had already killed the last grineer in the extermination mission. That mission left a very sour taste in my mouth... Oh and forgot to mention, I was still not able to finish the mission, since while running through a tunnel the low gravity decided I needed to clip through the tunnel and go flying off into a dead end tunnel with no way out, had to abort.
