Stalker AI + Radial Blind = Stalker Break

I was playing on my Excalibur and got invaded by the Stalker.  Didn't think too much of it first since all I was doing was killing infected on Apollodorus.  Then when I encountered him I used Radial blind.  When I used it the first encounter, he no longer attacked at all, he just kept teleporting till I killed him.  Then the second encounter right after that, the stalker would still attack, but just stopped using his basic attacks.  Has anyone else encountered this possible exploit?  Or is it just me?
