Hope DE can draw aome aspects from real life sword techniques : )

That is actually a Nagamaki, since the handle length is nearly the same proportion as the blade's length
It might be mistaken as a nodachi given it's length, but the technique is different as if you apply that to the Nodachi
one of your hand will be grabbing on the bare blade which isn't going to be very comfortable.

Nodachi is kind of having a 1:3 or 1:3.5 in terms of handle - blade length ratio
With the overall length exceeding 5 feet or ~1.5m

Dude, those swords are actually O-dachi not Nagamaki. The part of blade close to the hand guard were wrapped by cloth so it can be wielded with ease. If the wrapped part was the extended hilt then it would be your favorite Nagamaki.

I guess that is just the video thumbnail, there is clear explanation in it.

Though an O-dachi has cloth wrapped on the part close to the hand guard then
it is being effectively wielded as a nagamaki in terms of stance and moves used.

There we have potentially 2 stance that could be put into a weapon.
