Regarding Nekros shield of shadows augment mod

So I recently started playing with nekros, and having ton of fun.

Few days ago I acquired augment mod for his 4th ability, shield of shadows.

 

I've seen in many youtube videos that when you do use this mod, you do get a visible link between nekros and summoned minions. But not me.

I don't see any line between my nekros and minions.

I wonder if it has to do with graphic settings.

I do play warframe in low setting. So please tell me what I need to do in the graphics setting so I will be able to see this link effect, if it is graphic related.

Stupid question - did you equip the mod?

 

I have not tried all minimu settings, but I would assume they would still show.

Its more of frame colors.

With black color you cant distinguish who is an enemy even with the augment. Use a brighter color so you can see the augment working .

CAUTION: Brighter colors can damage eyes.

On a side note, with or without the augment, I find this to be the most annoying ability in the game when in a group, especially defense. It's enough that the area is filled with a dozen or so mobs, but bright colors will blind you and dark colors make it difficult to distinguish them from enemies. That is all.
