And yes, ressources are refunded into the vault, you can use them for further building.

The point of the thread isn't a mistake, now is it? It's his question. If you want to justify that you were "pointing out a mistake", then actually try to be constructive about it, don't drag it on and contribute to his question.

 There should be an option which says destroy room. This takes 2 hours.

After that it disappears and you can build something else

When op said "Thanks steam for the wonderful title" I'm pretty sure he meant the thread title and not the game. He made a typo and I guess he's posting through steam and it doesn't have auto correct. Don't know why anyone is getting mad at him for that.
