Kaokasalis
There are alot of weapons in Warframe and most are easy to guess which faction they belong to but there are some i have been unable to guess which faction would have made them. I have been thinking about this for a few days and its bugging me so i decided i wanna hear what you guys think. These are the weapons i have trouble with: Burston, Boar, Hek, Strun, Furis, Lex, Sicarus and Furax. (If i have posted this in the wrong section i apologize and would like it to be moved to its proper place)

0Frank0
I do recall seeing the grineer shield lancer use the Sicarus but I have no idea if the grineer created it. Edited July 29, 2013 by 0Frank0
theasl
Burston was the original Grineer weapon in the Dark Sector trailer, so I wouldn't be surprised if it stays on the Elite Lancer. Otherwise, Strun is still used by Trooper (but it will probably switch to Sobek).

VScipii26
Tenno: Burston, Boar(?), Strun, Furis, Lex, Sicarus Grineer: Hek, Furax Incorrect. Tenno: None. Grineer: Everything but the Lex and Furis. The Lex and Furis do not seem to have any specific faction, but all the others are Grineer. The Boar might not be, but it's generally assumed to be Grineer. There are few Tenno weapons in comparison to non-Tenno ones, regardless whether or not you count the Vandals. And Prime weapons are actually Orokin, not Tenno. KONAir
They have to decide if the Orokin was the name people/nation/race or just the name of Era. Its confusing; Are Tenno actually Orokin but called Tenno because they were warriors? Or Tenno and Orokin were seperate people while Tenno acted as military arm? Or were Tenno actually a seperate and/or artifical race created by Orokin? Or does the word Orokin is a blanket word means both the name Era and people of that time? theasl
snip corpus don't use bullet weapons, remember? the only one that was was removed for "not fitting the lore" also, torid and acrid are clantech, so tenno (grineer don't use them)

Lowsodium
I don't think every weapon nesasaraly has to belong to the 3 factions listed. There has to be neutral, independant, dead, or profiteering factions. You are essentially asking who invented the sword. But the war has been going on so long and so many people have used the sword that nobody can tell you anymore. Appearance alone will not cut it. Tetsmeha
Furis is definitely tenno design. I think they mentioned in one of the livestreams that Lato and other weapons were designed after matchlock/flintlock weapons. Lato, Furis, and Boltor are Tenno based on their art theme of matchlock/flintlock pistols. Bronco is Tenno too, as Boltos have that weird ball thing on the bottom of the grip just like the Bronco.
