Let's say you only have two hours left on something you'd like to rush.

Should you be forced to pay the same platinum fee for the two hours left as you were asked to pay when there were 12 hours left?

Let's look at this economically:

 

One platinum can be valued anywhere between 2.81 cents and 6.67 cents. The former being the grand master package platinum value, and the latter being the 5 bux for 75 package. 50 platinum can be as much as 3.34 dollars.

 

You decide how badly you want the weapon. It's not "wasting".
