Tomyem
Replied to a post about these and then thought the idea I posted could actually be ok if it got implemented so posting it in its own Topic to see what people think. Can't see me ever using one of these so rather than it collect dust like the fire resist and ice resist ones. Only way I'd ever use one of these new mods is if they added an 'aura/ammo' slot to weapons. Similar to Warframes aura slot just for weapons, doesn't even have to award points like the Aura does; but as said above, no way I would swap anything in my current loadout for one of these. Azraill
No. No really, just no. Not anything to do with the aura's, wouldn't use those either.. When the last time you ran out of credits? Never? (I hope) When was the last time you ran out of 8 gear slots? (Never used them? I wouldn't be shocked.) Results > Buy 4 gear slots of primary, 4 secondary.. you probably won't need any of them unless your using a sniper, bow, or twin vipers. Even if you do, you won't go through 4 boxes, much less 8. One void mission and you've made more credits than the amount of boxes you'd use in a month xD
DarthRevan84
I just ran my first mission since waking up and i saw that ammo drop rates have been turned down....usually while opening a locker id get a pistol, rifle and shotgun ammo box. I saw lockers with none and some with just 1 ammo box. My guess is they turned down ammo drop rate greatly to make using them worth while.

Celix
You can swap out the ammo maximum mod with these if you were using one.
XandoCalrissian
As much as I want to say yes they are no substitute for raw damage. And ammo is also not scarce enough for me to consider their use.
NeverNever
Yep. I don't see the point wasting a slot on fire damage mod that does virtually no damage on high level void missions.
Chris9428
No, not as long as it takes away Weapon slots.
FlanShark
No. With the advent of polarization the limiting factor on my favourite weapons is always number of mod slots, not mod capacity points. Relatively few weapons need this amount of ammo in the first place, none of them can afford to give up damage or handling for these things. I just ran my first mission since waking up and i saw that ammo drop rates have been turned down....usually while opening a locker id get a pistol, rifle and shotgun ammo box. I saw lockers with none and some with just 1 ammo box. My guess is they turned down ammo drop rate greatly to make using them worth while. bro, do you even confirmation bias? Tomyem
Don't really have any ammo issues, take a couple of packs for primary and secondary but don't think I've ever used them all. Was more trying to find a use for these mods. Some benefit would be better than them just being another thing you scroll past to get to the mod you are looking for. Sorry if I didn't explain that properly.
Alure
If you're killing enough enemies to run out of ammo, they're dropping enough for you to pick up and resupply. Never once have I had a gun that I couldn't use due to ammo consumption. Given I haven't ever used the twin vipers, but I don't really care to either. SLI-fox
I'd use it on a high drain weapon like Sobek or Gorgon or twin viper. Those aside they're nice trophies.
EvanTheNewbie
I like the thought that I can go crazy with supra and not worry about how much ammo I'm wasting.
xanroth
when its possible to equip it on the supra/ignis/other super spam dojo rifles I'm going to use it
Mak_Gohae
I got enough ammo box from when they used to drop from the log-in rewards to last me a long time. And having a million credits covers buying a whole lot more ammo boxes. But this was the easiest way to balance ammo for people complaining about ammo drops. So this is the answer to all that complaining when everyone got the Snipertron Vandal.
VinceBlood
The rifle conversion mod is going right onto my Gorgon, and my Supra when it finishes building (and when they fix the Supra not taking the mod, which Steve has confirmed as a bug). Arlayn
I already am, I found out why you upgrade them though. Its because you get about 1 bullet per converstion. So if you upgrade it you get more per conversion.
Shesocold
Since the grakata uses 8 ammo boxes to get to wave 30 it looks pretty reasonable to me lol
