Void Keys Possible Solution?

Im sorry if this idea has been posted before, or if this annoys anybody, but I had a good look at void key rewards on defense missions and at the rewards each void gives you and realized that it may be impossible at some point for me to get certain prime weapons.

I have no problem with grinding at all for those keys, yet at the moment Im sitting on around 5% chance at getting a tier 2 key (the new ones) and around 10% for the tier 1 keys... that are only awarded on tier 1 waves. In case anybody wants to know, here are the chances at getting each key according to each tier (got these on wiki):

http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Endless_Defense

My idea would be separate each kind of new key (Capture, Mobile Defense and Defense) for each faction. The same way we have Thunderbolt, Master Thief and Handspring for each faction.

Basically Mobile Defense for Grineer, Defense for Infested and Capture for Corpus. This way we could separate better the tiered rewards and give a higher chance for each player to actually achieve each of these keys, and complete the prime weapons even with all the RNG luck involved. My proposal would be something like this:

Tier 1 Corpus - Tier 1 Raid/Exterminate/Capture - 10.01% for each key. Atm theres a 30.03% chance for a tier 1 key of any kind, so 10.01 for each.

Tier 1 Grineer - Tier 1 Raid/Exterminate/Mobile - 10.01% for each key. Atm the rates are different than the Corpus defenses (Id like to know why), so fix these rates and make them equal to corpus, and then fit in the 10.01% for each key Im proposing.

Tier 1 Infested - Tier 2 Raid/Exterminate/Defense - 10.01% for each key. Same explanation for the Grineer.

Tier 2 Corpus - Tier 2 Raid/Exterminate/Capture - 3.07% for each key. Atm theres a 9.2% chance for a tier 2 key, summing up the 5 key chances.

Tier 2 Grineer - Tier 2 Raid/Exterminate/Mobile - 3.07% for each key. Same explanation as Corpus.

Tier 2 Infested - Tier 1 Raid/Exterminate/Defense - 3.07% for each key. Same explanation as Corpus.

Tier 3 Corpus - Tier 2/3 Raid/Exterminate/Capture - 2.95% for each tier 3 key and 10.12 for each tier 2 key. Atm theres a 8.84% chance for a tier 3 key (any of the 4 available, there is no raid 3) and 30.36% chance for a Raid or Exterminate t2, making tier 2 capture/defense and mobile defense truly hard to grind for, cause after you do a tier 2 defense, it becomes a tier 3 as you continue grinding.

Tier 3 Grineer - Tier 2/3 Raid/Exterminate/Mobile - 2.95% for each tier 3 key and 10.12 for each tier 2 key. Same explanation as Corpus.

Tier 3 Infested - Tier 2/3 Raid/Exterminate/Defense - 2.95% for each tier 3 key and 10.12 for each tier 2 key. Same explanation as Corpus.

Ignoring any math mistakes I may have done, my proposed changes would be mainly because atm we have a 1.84% chance to get a Defense 2 key, for example... imagine how hard it is then to farm for a specific item on these tier 2 keys? Im not asking for huge improvements, just to give us a little more of a chance to farm these, by separating per faction and by adding them to the drop tables on tier 3 defenses.

This would also get people to play more grineer and corpus defenses, other than only Xini :)

If its not a good idea, well, constructive criticism is welcome to try and find a better solution ^^

Im not asking to get these new weapons in 3 runs, just a fairer system so that I dont have like 0.1% chance at getting a specific item, if it wasnt rng based, and yes a token system of some sort, then the drop rates would be more than good as it would achievable, yet hard. Without that kind of system, I could be sitting at a 400-500 hour grind for one of the parts I need.

Loot distribution is borked beyond any reasonable excuse tbh.  The tables are diluted with loads of complete and utter S#&$.  They need to start splitting loot drops on a system by system basis not this factional bull crap.  It doesn't even make sense to divide solely on faction.  You go to a more "difficulty" place, you get different and better loot drops.  That simple.

I agree on that, but atm the current drop tables are getting me quite a few tier 3 keys by doing high waves, yet I wont be able to complete any of the prime weapons unless I go after tier 2 stuff, that is not challenging at all...

Yep.  But if they segmented drops by system, they could split void keys doing that too.....T1 & T2 keys from lower level area's ect...

But I would know I have a higher chance.

Atm I have 3.69% chance at a certain key I want, then I have to enter the void and pray that the item I want inside that void falls. Lets say it has a 12.65% chance.

That means first 1 in every 25 runs gives me a chance at the key I need... then 1 in every 9 runs the item I want... Thats 34 runs, if Im unlucky... we are looking at 60+ runs.

By putting the chances up as I said, you would be looking at 1 in every 10 runs to get the key you want... then a 1/10 for the item. Thats 20 runs for 1 item. Certain weapons are 5 pieces all together, Im not even gona weigh here when somebody can be very, very, very unlucky.

Key drops are fine, this is a F2P MMO, the way companies make money is threw grinding and the annoyance of players with bad luck who spend money to save time. Drops are fine its just RNG I would assume by now people would understand that its completely random. Although I think that they should up the chance for a key every 5 waves by 2.5% or so and reward higher levels of play.

Whats this? Rare items take long to find to get into a rare map? This is groundbreaking news, lad!

Oh yeah...except when you have 50 rare items on a single drop table.  And then when you get one you have to use it to go do a 50 minute long mission and try to get 4 other rare items to build one thing.

RNG sucks, its a @(*()$ crutch.  DE has become way to reliant on RNG to the point where we now suffer double RNG.  To make matters worse, their loot tables are bloated with minimal segregation.  The crowning blow here is the length of the friggen missions.  Apparently wanting to force us to stop blowing through content they sought to artificially extend the life of grinding by implementing absurdly long missions and double RNG.  It's a slap in the face and an insult to the player base.  This game had a lot of potential but every update it just becomes more Grind and RNG, grind and RNG.

Welcome to online gaming. MMO's specifically.

Play tons, none so gaffed as this.  And I play PWE games.

But yeah, that's totes a legitimate excuse for development shortcuts.  It's not like this is beta and we're supposed to let the devs know what we want done or anything.  S#&$, nope!  We should instead just get on our knees, fan boi it up, and just gratefully accept any and everything they do.

Fine. People beg too much on the forum though.

I never begged, I just proposed a change to the current loot tables using the current drop rates of the keys, and them only. I never even said anything about increasing chances, but yes spreading better the current chances for each key.
