Rekrim
I've had this same problem for almost a year now, happens no matter where I am. No idea how to fix
Hamdouken
Same here, but it happens randomly on my own ship, in navigation, in missions.. everywhere. Could be 1 min or 2 hours between freezes, it's very odd since this never happens on other games I play / have played. Specially annoying if you can't reconnect to the mission and you lose the rewards / resources.
White_Matter
I'm having the same problem. I can also comfirm that this is a recent issue. So either a windows update issue or one of the recent updates of the game caused it. I've had FPS drops from the start, but the screen freeze is new for me. 1060 6gb OC'd 7700k @4.5ghz 32gb 2666mhz ram 1080p graphics settings maxed out with motion blur off. nvidia 387.98 driver. hyper threading on both on the launcher and the nvidia panel. I'm not running anyting else on the background. I hope they look into this. Edited November 21, 2017 by White_Matter
Spires
I haven't read most of this, but I had a constant problem for over a year and finally fixed mine. Try disabling Direct X 11 and go to 10 from the launcher. Haven't had a single issue since then, and this was done for me almost 4 months ago. I literally tried just about everything else that has ever been posted, and nothing worked for me. Hopefully this is a fix for you.
White_Matter
Is there a substantial difference between DX11 and DX10 regarding WF ?
