I know you sometimes get one extra if someone drops the quest item (canister)but this time i was holding it ! The distances by foot are RSI heavy and when you have no clue where to go it gets worse . Also missmatches public but send out alone or with just two persons , in a group off free roamers so with no quest while i got the event quest.
