Change The No Map For Nightmare Mode, To Something Else.

Playing with others is no fun on this mode, you have to herd them around like sheep threw the whole level not fun at all.

I know you trying to turn it into a farm game, but herding people around a map is not fun at all.

Even if I decide not to and just finish it my self, I still be waiting at extraction for 10min for the other players to find it.

I would suggest to allow enemies to disrupt the map like those other enemies did in that one event, where you had to kill those balloon things. But with more range. That way you would at least have to kill things to find your way around.

This does not make the game much harder, for people who played the game a lot have memorized map tiles, we know where all the possible entrances are, so all it does is just map a mission take longer then usual.  Taking longer would only = hard when and only when mixed with a timer.

But if you want time consuming ideas just for the sake of making timer mode being hard at least come up with a better idea then this. That will not effect playing with others in a negative way.

The issue at hand, is playing with other people. My issue is not soloing, but playing with others which this mode makes me face palm so hard.

It's nightmare mode.

Who ever said anything about fun?

Your right, they need to make it more annoying, they should make a mode where everything is completely pitch black and you have to find your way around and kill enemies going off by sound only.

There is a difference between challenging and annoying. Yes if you new to game and not know the maps well then I guess not having a map is hard.  But this makes playing with others very annoying.  I like to play with others I can carry them by helping them kill enemies and such, but to have to hold there hand and show them where to go through out the whole thing is annoying.

Indeed at the moment I'm farming for Blaze and let me tell you whenever I end up on a mission without minimap something breaks in me, because running around the map for 10 mins trying to find datamass or sabotage target is just annoying as hell.

dont play nightmare then...

if you and your squad are organized, if you play like a team and no individualism, if you want more challenge, then go to nightmare! dont complain about game difficulty and when they give us more challenging and more difficulty you cry about it!

only one thing i can complain about is to give to the players the choice to play on nightmare or on normal mode !

Good luck ; )

They should atleast do some sort of fog of war map that way at the very least you can track your progress through the map  and also have an objective marker show up just so you know what is the right way or something.I think the no map is the one that takes the longest just because everyone has to be running around not because its hard.No shield with energy drain is the hardest imo while anything with vampire is actually easier due to being able to regain health.

This is just spitballing here, but I agree that no-map mode sucks for random teams. My reccomendation: Sonar Mode. Sure you have no map, but keep the objective marker. The catch? 30 second radar pulses that will point out the objective marker for about 5 seconds, so you stay blind for about 25 seconds, but you arent truly lost, just going the wrong way if you rush the wrong way. This challenge would discourage rushing or separation, but make a mission hard to navigate at a quick pace

Personally, im waiting for a digital view mode, where everything is black, walls are green, blue or gray depending on who the opposition is, enemies are all red, and warframes are white. TRONIFY THE GAME

I want a 'fog of war' mode that actually straight up prevents you from seeing past a certain distance.

It would be dark - requiring use of a flashlight - and even still there would be a mostly opaque wall of inky black preventing you from seeing much past a certain distance.

Imagine how frantic Infestation missions could be if you couldn't see all the way across larger rooms.

No map is not harder, all it does is make a mission take longer.  What is bad about it, is it prevents people to play with other random people as they go there own way and do not listen, because you know people like to play the game their way, and get lost then you have to go around map finding them to show them the way so you have enough people to get to extraction.

If they made it so you did not have to wait for people to get to the extraction like you could when the game first came out I would not mind.

A Combination of these two would be genius!! but I think I would prefer it to be an infestation only nightmare that way it works at its best.

People poked the bear and taunted Steve saying Nightmare was too easy.

Beggers can't be choosers

I never asked for this.

The rest of the community shouldn't suffer because a few people weren't happy. It's clear DE has no idea what challenge even means by now given their enemy design.

You guys have to understand the issue at hand is playing with others is now very annoying.  Multilayer games should be fun to play with others, I love challenges I don't mind challenges at all, solo no map is not a problem when you have all map tiles memorized all it does is make a mission last longer then it should.

Its no different then having a mode where doors are randomly locked for 2min and you have to sit around waiting it out. Just a time waster.

I really hope they add an option so it doesn't for you to play nightmare mode or an alert. It's kind of ridiculous when one of the only spots worth farming Tier 1 keys goes nightmare mode.
