thats the weak spot on ancients or what used to be the weak spot, now not even sure if there is a hitbox near its leg

Dude, do you even play? The hitbox of the weak spot of the ancient was changed when the new texture/model came up...

You guys are doing it the wrong way.

For Toxic Ancient, hit those 2 orbs in the stomach area (they are bright green easy to spot)

For Ancient Healer and Ancient Disrupter, hit the "small/weird arm", not the gigantic one, the small one

the point is that there is not a hitbox on the legs so you can shoot him there t just flies through like it was air

Where did you get this info?

i feel like you are making this up i have never heard of this and nor do i know what spots you're talking about and i have been to xini with banshee and not once did it highlight the stomach, headshot is best for AI or AP weapons but then headshots barely register anymore i don't think they have a head bigger than well anything really its hard to get headshot bonus with new ancients, they put something out that wasn't ready and now we are suffering and they aren't really listening to anyone about the new ancients' skin its physical $&*&*#(%& with ragdolls and stealth attacks, they have no wind up time on their disrupting and knocking ya down headshots are messed up majorly, hit boxes are almost non existent, and when you use banshee's sonar it highlights leg that literally there is nothing to hit there because your bullets pass right through as the OP stated above.

May I ask where you got this info?

I just tested this.

I was getting more damage per shot hitting the large arm that they use to do their stretch attack, their right arm, than the smaller left arm. Just like on the old models where it was their right arms that didn't have the damage resist.

I also wasnt getting any extra damage from hitting them orbs in the toxics stomach as opposed to hitting any other part of their torso.

Further, when I was able to hit their lower legs (where the hitbox is stupidly small) I still got more damage than a standard body shot.

Their weakpoints haven't changed, so I would like to ask where you came across the information you posted.

You'd be lying, dude.

This is the Ancient's body part list:

Head

Torso

Right Upper Arm

Right Lower Arm

Left Upper Arm

Left Lower Arm

Right Upper Leg

Right Lower Leg

Left Upper Leg

Left Lower Leg

This is the Ancient's protected body part list:

Head

Torso

Right Upper Arm

Left Upper Arm

Right Upper Leg

Left Upper Leg

The weak spots are the ones that aren't in the 2nd list. That'd be all the lower limbs.

If it doesn't match testing then it's hitbox wonkiness.

Doesn't explain why face shots into the tentacle mouth seem to work well for me. Then again it is possible to armor over weak points.

Edit: Took Flux rifle to ancients and shot at legs, nothing, it is indeed like hitting air.

if u hold your breath while reading your doing it wrong, breath normally man normally.

He was referring to the entire paragraph being a single sentence.

Anyway, I've been having success with shooting them in the face, but having said that, Ancient's heads have always been a weak spot only for armour piercing. I don't think it made a great deal of difference to much else, and since I always have AP mods on all my gear, yeah.

My main problem is trying to hit ancients with the hikou. If I attack them from above or from the side (they do like to look somewhere else while I'm attacking them >.>) They reel so far back from the attack that half of my stars end up missing, as most of the ancient's body that I'm trying to hit is now not where it was when I threw the star.
