T'was the night before Baro when all through the den, 

Not a Tenno was stirring, not even a Clem.

The Formas were hung by the foundry with care.

In hopes that Baro soon would be there;

The Kavat were nestled all snug in their stasis;

While visions of death appeared on a daily basis.

And Rhino in his 'kerchief and I in my cap,

Had just woken my Kubrow from a long winter nap.

When out on the deck there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my bunk to see what was the matter.

Away to the potal I flew like a flash,

tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,

showed me the carnage laid out below.

When what to my wondering eyes did appear,

but a rank one Tenno cowered in fear.

I knew from that moment that I needed to be quick,

or the Kunia from Ash were sure to stick.

More rapid than Loki his coursers they came,

If we die then the lag is what we could blame.

And he shimmered and vanished and 

hid him from view.

Now slashing, now puncture!

now poison and damage.

Go Farming, for plastids

for credits and primes.

To the planet of Earth! to the planet of Mars!

Now Stash away, stash away! satash away!

As he leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

the bodies of grineer will fall from the sky.

So up to the Fortress the coursers they flew, 

but not before laughing at the Vor they had slew.

And then in a twinkling I heard out the back,

the round of a shotgun as it was just racked.

As I drew in my head and was turning around,

there was Valkyr as she dropped on the ground.

She was dressed in a skin from her feet up her back,

she only had that from spending some plat.

A bundle of arrows she had flung on her back,

she let one loose that when with a thwack.

Her eyes - how they sparkled with pure hate and malice

They burned just like fire,

my how I panicked.

The claws on her hands looked mighty sharp,

the Kubrow at her feet just started to bark.

With a wink of her eye and a twist of her head, 

Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

She spoke not a word but went straight to work,

with hacking and slashing for all of her worth.

With a wave of her hand, with what looked like pure glee,

she sprinted full speed straight past me.

She sprang to the wall then out of the door, 

blood of her prey still littered the floor.

And away they all ran like things possessed,

to still be alive, Im thinking Im blessed.
