A Reason To Explore And A New Twist To Missions: Kill The Defector

Besides farming for materials there is not much use exploring on regular maps, as a suggestion I would like to add this incentive...mini bosses/ secret enemies.

Simply put unique enemies that can only be found in hidden areas of tile sets, and these hidden areas change even within the tile set. These enemies when killed will always drop a rare resource from that region. A farming mission that would give everyone a reason to turn the map upside down and shake it out for its secrets. Maybe even more than one hidden area per mission. They are going in the right direction with the void hidden areas.

The new spinoff for missions

"Tenno things just got interesting. We have reason to believe one of our own has betrayed us. Find this defector...and terminate them"

The DEVs have made up the Tenno to be free thinking individuals who write their own stories of who they are, so it makes sense that some of these Tenno could turn away from Lotus. Missions will have randomly have these objectives and the enemies will be none other than the Warframes we know and love.

"stay sharp Tenno, this one's a handful"

Also it would be nice to have a choice whether to kill this defector or not. One could accumulate loyalty or renegade points, which could influence how they could interact with future weekend events that are lore driven

Do I get a choice of which color ending I would like for every mission?

 

The usual RGB stuff, most likely.

 

I think these secret rooms should have more than lockers. However, adding new types of subboss enemies with Diablo or Torchlight esque "Major Steve the Pink", "Colonel Scott of the Hammer", "Sheldon the Bandanna" would make the map more interesting.

 

Apart from these enemies, adding secret control panel that launch player into a minigame involving activate series of control panel in time limit for extra loot would be nice as a side objective.
