The_Markie
If you're gonna reward us with crappy mods after 10 or 15 waves or even higher waves, make sure that mod is pre-fused Yep, if the reward is a common or uncommon mod, depends on the waves we've finished, that mod will be pre-fused onto a specific level (randomized in a certain range). That'll even more of a tremendous help and compensation for the crappy mods themself. Because at least we can still use the fusion value of that mod, or in some cases, it'll be a useful piece for your new weapons. Sophista
with all respect sire, But i totaly dont agree... You cannot expect to get only fair/decent/good rewards. You have to get some fast hands and core common3 to really see value of rare mods hidding in there

The fusing can be randomized between certain range, also. Edited August 1, 2013 by The_Markie

Some group made it to wave 100 and got a redirection, wouldn't it be great if that redirection was maxed out after 100 waves of infested from xini

Vauban/Trinity/Nova/Saryn GG easy clear. This may sound cocky - but I'd find that incredibly easy to abuse. I'd hardly need fusion at all. I'm not even the best player - I'm actually pretty mediocre. Blatantfool
That was before nova came out and it was vauban trinity and 2 saryn Yeah. Now - because of Nova's damage amp - it is even EASIER to clear that far. It doesn't even have anything to do with OP or anything - those frames together just trivialize the process. Keltik0ne
Even with a highly synergised team, it gets pretty boring, I've got as far as 50 before and it wasn't fun. I respect the 100+ club for their endurance though. Edited August 1, 2013 by Keltik0ne
Symbiont71
what's the point of going higher if the rewards remain the same? I've seen the drop chances on wiki. Every 5 waves, drop chances for rare mods should be increased by a little while decreasing drop chances of the other mods by the same amount. I'm only talking about wave rewards. I'm not sure pre-fused mods would help too much, but it's a good idea nevertheless.

Infact, starting at round 1 again is MORE rewarding. You can break all the containers for materials again.
BadAimbot
This. There is literally no reason to beyond wave 5. When you could just go start at round 1 again. Infact, starting at round 1 again is MORE rewarding. You can break all the containers for materials again. This is true. This also applies to basically every piece of challenging content. Why try a Nightmare mission on Pluto when Venus has the same rewards? Why do Palus when Xini has basically the same rewards but isn't quite as punishing if you manage to let something through? Although, with how the game balance falls apart as enemies get high leveled, I can wait to see this fixed.
philleapa
Honestly the only thing that is worth about going higher than wave 5 or 15 is to get mods, and the mod drop rate varies between missions so if I am on xini and i am getting like 10+ mods on wave 5 i will stay and if i am on wave 10 and i have gotten 0 mods but had planned to go to wave 50 ill leave at 10. Anyways the way the reward system works it is best for you to stay till wave 15 at least to get the best possibly reward, but it is more efficient to just farm wave 5 but it is very boring to just farm 5 and i like the sense of self accomplishment when i make it past wave 30 and i don't get bored of it. Fiia
Not that I have the solution; however after reading the posts here it is clear something is broken. Put the right group together, game play is too easy, play to wave 5 leave (rinse and repeat), mod quality drop rate encourages not pressing on to higher levels, low mod drops means bail and start again, etc., etc., etc.. DE clearly needs to do something. I think it would be nice to receive two Fusion Cores as rewards as waves were completed. At least they are useful to power other mods. Receiving two lesser mods is better than the single lame mod after wave 15. I typically stop at 15 as the effort is not worth the reward. The only reason I typically go to 15 is for the xp if I am leveling a frame or weapon. Edited August 1, 2013 by Fiia
