Dessfar
1.) How on earth does a boomerang do the exact same amount of damage as a giant spinning blade. decrease the kestrals charge damage and buff the glaive's default. The kestral already has the advantage of knocking down enemies. At the moment, the kestral is better and easier to craft. 2.) Bouncing need to be improved. The glaive should go straight through people allowing for kills in a line. It makes no sense that it can cut someone in half yet bounce off. Please reply to this so DE can see it. Really needs to be fixed.
MetalGerbil
the glaives charge attack ignores armor, kestrel does not. its not meant to be a primary killing wep. its a burst/CC supplement for your ranged weps. as your melee slot is useless otherwise when you main guns. they are fine. Lumireaver
I sincerely believe that after Scott handles 'Frame balancing, he will go in a run a pass over the weapons, solving problems like scaling armor, and the late-game uselessness of many weapons... Alighierian
glaive should be able to go through enemies if it kills them...
ADJCENT
It ignores armor where I believe the Kerstel does not. But it should go through 1 or 2 enemies.

iValianT
There's already a mod of glaive puncture , it's not added in drop tables yet though.
HAR1MAU
I agree, if you if you compare the two, the travel time of the glaive combined with reflex coil, then the DPS of the glaive is lower than the kestrel and everyone knows this. kestrel is easier to arquire and craft compared to the glaive + it has a medium knockdown AoE effect on jump attack. and is much faster. but i just can't let go of my...(PRECIOUS!) glaive for the sake of Dark Sector. I mean come on DE! Are you trying to make poeple put the signature weapon of Hayden, into a corner and let it rot?the glaive can slit poeples throats in one slash and in warframe it takes over 9000 hits!IM SORRY DE, I AFRAID I CANT LET YOU DO THAT. Solaurus
Glaive ignores armor and goes farther then the Kestrel. Kestrel does less damage since it is affected by armor, but knocks down enemies. Therefore, it is balanced. I do agree however that the Glaive should be able to go through enemies if they are killed by it.

Only when thrown : the charge attacks from most melee weapons deal serrated blade damage that ignores armor. And going farther with less travel speed,it feels like an eternity before it returns. Kestrel doesn't have this problem Edited August 7, 2013 by HAR1MAU

taiiat
>.> if Kestrels' damage gets nerfed, it might as well not do any damage. Kestrel is literally something i take farming a few bosses and for super high level defense when i need to throw enemies away from a location. it's damage output is nearly zero, and this is with me having a lot of damage mods on it. it. however, as said many times here, Glaive ignores armor on throws, which means it can deal some not S#&$ damage. it might not deal Forcefield Damage, but Glaive actually can kill things, while Kestrel, ehhh, not really. do not make the mistake of assuming the trollerang is actually a combat killing weapon. it's 100% utility. Jugganatha
What part of my information was inaccurate? I have the weapon! I +1'd OP'S "horribly inaccurate information." The Glaive costs too much time and resources for what it does.
Dessfar
glaive should be able to go through enemies if it kills them... How did this get more upvotes when i said literally the same thing?
S3ven0F13
Personally I think they are balanced. but for Glaive a increase in flight speed would be optimal. and the slicing through enemies shoulda always been a part of it. I know dark sector was DE's baby but that shouldn't blind them to the fact that without us being able to control its flight like Hayden we need some sort of trade-off. going through multiple enemies sounds like a good trade-off. HAR1MAU
Yea, The Glaive in Dark Sector was much better than it was in Warframe. Edited August 7, 2013 by HAR1MAU
